About the restaurant 14 Rosas

"Anyone who has good gastronomic knowledge of Madrid knows that some of the most consistent restaurants of the capital are found within the triangle formed by Sor Ángela de la Cruz, Bravo Murillo and Castellana Streets. 14 Rosas restaurant is a great representative of this.

Its seasonal menu always ensures the best quality from the seasonal produce, with a set of starters to share that you will want to test as a main, such as the poached goose with truffled cream and a few mains where the meat and fish stand out to compete in class and taste. You should not miss the 14 Rosas red tuna or their Retinto meats, which are among the best in Spain. Home-made desserts and their cheese platter maintain the standard until the end.

In its elegant and practical environment that you can enjoy at any time of the day, you'll find the attentive service that special occasions deserve. And there is no occasion too big to enjoy one of the menus that best know how to merge tradition with the avant-garde."

I think 14 Rosas is a gem. Too bad they cancelled the cheese cart during summer, as a cheese platter makes a meal complete. No idea why the place is so empty.

We had an early dinner at 8.30 so the restaurant was fairly empty. We received great service, the food was great with large portions, and there was plenty of space between the tables, so you did not feel jammed in. Great personal attention. Thank you!

Excellent meal from the service to the food quality. I was even given a few extra's as a starter and desert. I could not have been happier with my experience.

It was my second visit (cheese is hard to find in Madrid), and experience was -again- good. Staff really friendly, good food and a relaxed atmoshpere. I´ll probably come back for a third time.

Doubted first (calle Rosa da Silva, where??) but restaurant well exceeded expectations. Very enthusiastic service, good food. And best of all: a proper cheese cart! Don´t see that often enough in Madrid. We were by far the last ones to leave but staff remaiend super friendly.
