Perfect table with view of Champs Elysee in beautiful 1er stage salon, but rather stifling on a warm day. I understand the lack of AC, but would have liked to lingerlonger if the window was opened to let in some air.

We have been to Laduree twice, the last time was about 6 years ago. We reserved a table tonight and when we arrived it was immediately clear that this was a different restaurant. The menu was fixed and as unimaginative as you could believe, and after waiting nearly 20 minutes for the a server to come introduce themselves and ask if we wanted anything we finally gave up. Not a single server, an overpriced, unimaginative menu. The Laduree we have been to is capable of quite a bit more. I hope that whoever has purchased it will go back to basics before continuing to expand.

The setting is beautiful and the food was good - not great. The service was horrible. Two of the four were nearly done when the other two dishes were served and two people were eating the same thing although one was served 20 minutes sooner. So many other great choices - I think they are overrated.

We came for our my 30th birthday, when we arrived our special reservation (which my partner had confirmed over the telephone 30mins prior to ensure a nice special upstairs seat) had not been kept and we were told there wasn't room. no apology from the door staff but a seat was found. The waiter was wonderful but our service was painfully slow. Overall a dissapointing meal which should have been a happy birthday experience.

The restaurant is beautiful and the food was delicious. A little on the expensive side, but you pay for the ambiance and experience. Although the server that waited on us was very nice, our overall time was too long. From the time we arrived until we paid our check, we spent over two hours there. We do understand that the French are more leisurely then Americans and we didn't mind the break, but that was a bit too long. Overall, would recommend this restaurant.

We booked la Duree because it's so famous and lots of recommendations from people we know, now it's too expensive for it offers in terms of food; brunch -49 euros per person and it only comes with 4 mini croissants ; the omelette was a bit cold since the kitchen was in the basement and the plates needed to travel from basement before arriving to our tables

Not as good as it used to be a few years ago. The decor and the desserts are the only points worth going for. The rest is very ordinary compared to other places in the 8th arrondisement.

This was our second trip to Laduree for lunch. Both times, theservice was excellent. (All the severs were accommodating to our limited grasp of French. ). From start to finish, the meal was delicious and elegantly presented. Our waiter suggested I try the special and i'm glad he did because it was excellent (salmon with tandoori spices). My husband had the croque Monsieur which was a delightfully yummy interpretation on the classic. As always, their dessert was amazing - if you've never had the macarons, try them immediately. This place lives up to its name as an institution. Simply lovely.

Was so disappointed. I wanted my family to enjoy what I had last October at la Duree.
Service was so slow. We had to go tell a server that nobody had been to our table. That's was 25 minutes after we were seated. Nobody came and send hi or got our drinks.
But once our server came , his service was excellent!!!
Some of us ordered fish, we didn't even have the proper silver wares.
We asked water from a server, never got it for us.
Just a shame!!!
