About the restaurant Vins et Terroirs

"ODÉON - A stone's throw from Saint Germain des Prés and Saint-Michel, one becomes infatuated with a nice façade of old-fashioned mini-inn. Once seated, you visit walls that pay tribute to legendary illustrators. Le décor est planté.

AS ITS NAME SUGGESTS - no high-sounding titles or prestidigitations: at Vins et Terroirs, one eats well in a traditional setting: kidneys, cassoulet, confit duck, etc. The portions are good and the price very reasonable for the neighborhood.

A WELL-DESERVED BREAK - visiting Paris? At Vins et Terroirs, you will find a warm atmosphere for a lunch break or to start the evening well."

Our second visit and everything was perfect as before. Boeuf Bourguigeon was terrific as was my wife's pork roast. Profiteroles for dessert a must.

Everything was fine, except that they charged 4€ for a carafe of tap water without warning. We have eaten in many Paris restaurants, and this has never happened to us.

Great traditional, typical regional French dishes. Cooked well, served with a smile and accompanied by great classic wines at very acceptable prices. Many good wines served by the glass. Great location and warm welcoming atmosphere. Booked because of reviews and not disappointed

Great night dinner for a group of family /friends. I just did not recommend the Tatin de fois gras. There were NO fois gras.

Mycket god mat som med rabatten(30%), tack vare bokning via "the fork", blev även mycket prisvärt. Vi var väldigt nöjda när vi gick därifrån.

Very nice meal at a charming, out of the way restaurant. The meal would have been a bit pricy (especially without the fork discount) but was delicious, and good value for money.

Great food, although service was way too fast.

Washrooms were nasty.

A cosy, intimate restaurant just off the Boulevard St Germain near the Odeon. Very efficient service. Beautifully presented salmon with vegetables starter followed by gorgeously tender beef bourgignon in a rich sauce. Washed down with an excellent half bottle of Beaujolais. Enjoyed my meal so much I went again two days later for more of the same (this time with a delicious Loire red wine and then sent happily on my way with a complimentary and wonderfully throat warming digestif). With 40% off the food courtesy of The Fork, each time the meal (two courses, half bottle of wine, bottle of mineral water and apparently unlimited supplies of French bread) cost about 35 euros. So excellent value too. My new fave restaurant in Paris!
