SOIRÉES ŒNOLOGIQUES - Afin d'asseoir sa réputation de table gourmande, conviviale et originale, le 114 Faubourg organise des soirées œnologiques chaque premier lundi du mois. Le vigneron, sélectionné par Marco Pelletier, Chef Sommelier du Bristol, vient ainsi présenter son vin en personne, autour d'un menu dégustation de quatre plats spécialement créé pour l'occasion.

We looked for an excellent, but not over the top dinner in Paris...and this really fit the bill. Their Tasting Menu was enjoyed by all. We purchased the 66 Euro wine pairing which was well thought and delightful.

I highly recommend this restaurant!

Overall, it was an excellent and satisfying lunch experience. Unfortunately, however,when I asked the server about the "menu" choices so when I ordered dessert, I did so thinking it was part of the prix fixe menu for lunch. If she been paying attention she would have asked whether I wanted to add on a dessert to the menu. Also the changing of table linens and dressing table with plates and glasses could be done in a quieter way for the patrons still eating. She used some kind of cleaner on a rag and it completely took my breath away and ruined my experience of the food for several minutes. I recovered, but should not have had to. All that aside, the food was delicious.

The food was outstanding. The presentation was excellent. The service was perfect in that the waiter was knowledgeable about the food and wine. He was extremely friendly and helpful, without being arrogant or condescending.

Rich atmosphere appeals to the senses. Plates of food beautiful to look at and better to eat. Courses were paced perfectly. Memorable meal in many ways, and wide range of choices. Love the special attention clients receive by staff, warmly welcomed. Start with a glass of champagne to set a romantic tone.

I have eaten at most of the top establishments in Paris, and decided London does better, but this is my favorite of all. My second time here, and now I know the first time wasn't a fluke.
I am bringing my Paris based American club here for our Luxe lunch, but prix fixed is a "bargain". The sommelier, Narcis, made the meal. Don't hesitate to use him.

But the food is just so so..

I was eating fried fish
And there is a plastic inside the fish.. i thought it was a fish stomach ..but it replace v quick with other menu i choose..

What a great evening! I had Valentine's dinner with my fiancée and we were impressed with the atmosphere, the food and the service, along with many special things to recognize the holiday. The food was amazing! I have traveled and dined extensively and each course was an adventure into the French culinary arts and was one of the best dining experiences that I have had.
