A great place, they'd be making a tidy turnover if they are able to expand their great menu, recipes, cocktails, and service into the city centre. Great place, great guys.

Friendly staff and atmosphere. Food was really tasty and with the cocktails at 2 for £12, well worth a visit. Definitely recommend.

We received a warm welcome and were shown our choice of tables. We were immediately served with drinks and a menu and explanation of different courses explained. Our starters were served followed by our Main Courses and Desserts. During our meal the staff were attentive and made sure that everything was alright and the night was a very successful dining experience.

This restaurant visit went well beyond my expectations. We were travelling in the area and found it by chance on the fork app. We decided to try it and made the right choice!. We had seekh kebab, spicy lamb chops, a proper pork vindaloo and a venison curry plus 2 types of naan. Many options on the menu and you can choose which meat you want with some of the listed dishes. Plenty of choice drinks wise. Excellent service. Young staff and management seem to be working really hard and the results are great! Will definitely go again if we travel back to this area.

This restaurant has a very cosy and warm feeling to it, it is family run and you can tell that they value customers and genuinely want that the experience is pleasant. I found the Christmas atmosphere very lovely and relaxing. The service was very good, the waiting time to be served, adequate. The dishes that we tried were very rich in flavour and fulfilling, as expected from Indian cuisine. We particularly enjoyed the starters. I recommend this restaurant to all people that are looking for a nice, special, flavoursome dine out.

1580 has new owners and a great new menu, with a strong Punjabi influence and has introduced some great Nepalese dishes that were new to me. It was great to try some new flavours and terrific cooking. Good value for money too - this menu and quality of food would be a lot more in the city centre. Would definitely recommend,
