We booked thru the fork as we like to find new restaurants. Without the booking we would not even have stayed there as the setting was not welcoming. Only the two reserved tables were set up. The food was excellent. The lady Chef is a great cook. Also the presentation, glassware of high quality. Prices are higher than on the Fork menue but with the discount it is more than ok. No winelist available. The recommendation of the co-owner was very good and the price of the Chardonnay wine was absolutely ok. We had pasta of the day: homemade gnocchi with cream of zucchini and violett prawns from Gallipoli. Fantastic! The spaghettone with cream of pistacchio and tartare from tuna, too. Main course Orata in sale was good but surprisingly not completely covered in salt as I know, but just some large grain on top. As I live in Italy I would say the fish had been frozen before, but it was ok. What disturbed us most was the service. I know how to open a fish in salt crust but many don't. He just placed the plate in front of us and ignored any question if he could do. He seemed very nervous and stressed. Since no other table was with chairs or set up, people passed by and left. I told him.... The discount was deducted automatically but I didn't understand why we shouldn't have paid with fork pay, as I had received the email of Fork. He said he has problems with them when paid with fork pay. Anyway, food was really good, we sat in the street in front of the restaurant. But the service ruined our good impression of the place. I recommend the Chef to take another business partner or to work in another place. Would be a big loss not to enjoy her dishes and creations.
