6.5/10Nice enough, but one of the starters was luke warm and I don’t think it was good value for money. Staff were very friendly though.

5.5/10Arranging party nights in the restaurant is a very bad idea. It is either a function room or a restaurant, not both. The noise level for just diners was unacceptable. Xmas parties are great for the people attending but should be held in private function rooms. The singer was being ignored and appeared to be a complete waste of the hotels money. Please decide if you run a restaurant or a function suite. We will not being staying again in December if this arrangement is going to continue.

10/10What an amazing team of people running an amazing restaurant. We were staying at hotel for 3 days and had lots of friends and family calling in. The staff were outstanding bending over backwards to meet our every need. Thank you so much . You made our visit amazing.

8/10I went with a friend on Friday evening. Confirmation email stated 1.5 hrs which I felt wasn’t long enough but in fact, we were not rushed out. Table was booked for 7pm we left at 9.45. ☺️We had a very good meal and we both agreed we would happily go back. Staff were very pleasant and professional.

3/10A table of 2 was squeezed next to our table of two yet the whole restaurant was empty! Wasn’t a good start. Drinks were either forgotten or taking 10 mins due to stock being elsewhere in the hotel! Garlic bread rock hard. Onion rings totally over cooked. I would say more like ‘pub grub’ style food. Will not return unfortunately. Shame as we were looking for somewhere for our wedding venue.

5.5/10The service was poor although I have to say the staff were very polite but very young and inexperienced. We had to ask for things more than once. We ordered liquer coffees which were cold and cream had sunk. To be fair they were deducted from our bill. I think the set menu was vastly overpriced. The steak was £28 and very small plus it indicated that to have chips with it there was a £7 supplement, not sure if that was a typing error as when queried chips were included. The Prawn Linquine was dry and prawns tough and crispy duck was not crispy!

3.5/10Hopeless uncoordinated service. Repeatedly had to chase after nothing appeared for 30 minutes after ordering. Then starters and mains arrived at the same time. Food mediocre at best.

8/10A bit pricey for what we were given. Food was okay but service only average. Staff asked if we wanted dessert menus and we said yes and they never arrived. Difficult to get someone’s attention for the bill at the end too.

10/10I can honestly say I haven’t had service with that level of care! Unfortunately I didn’t have a chance to get their names, but the 2 ladies and the gentleman were always ensuring our experience was as perfect as possible. Nothing was too much trouble. It made the experience incredibly memorable. We are very likely to come again soon thanks to their welcoming, friendly and kind attitudes. Thank you!
