At this restaurant it seems like you have to be a group of white male in a business suit to get a decent service. I was a solo guest wearing normal clothing. I was placed at the furthest table on the way to the bathroom, with service stuff squeezing through a narrow passage to go from one area to another, constantly hitting my table. The food was ok but nothing to write home about.

Staff were very welcoming, there was a bit of delay with the food service coming out in stages for the same course but everyone enjoyed their meal and was very happy

I submitted another review the service was not great we had to keep getting up to ask for refills, check on the order, pay our bill, little things, the staff was not familiar with the different types of wine, there should be some training for them if they are not familiar enough to answer basic questions. With the hotel being promoted as a 5 STAR I expected quite a bit more. The food was very good.

We were a little disappointed. I had been several times when it was called the Chop House and assumed the change of name implied a general relaunch. But it was no different in ambience and the menu was less interesting. Main courses were fine, but the starters were dull - so we skipped them expecting to indulge in desserts, but they were dull too, and all rather heavy. The service ranged from extremely attentive at the start, to very slow and lackadaisical when it came to asking if we wanted a dessert. So disappointing, and in an area where there's plenty strong competition I doubt I'll be back
