Sean started his culinary journey on his grandfather’s cattle farm in South Africa, learning how different beef raising and cooking techniques could impact the flavour of the meat. Hall’s then moved to the UK where he completed his apprenticeship at Langdale Estat, expanding his culinary skill set to include classically trained French preparation techniques. Hall then began working with the Jamie Oliver Group, where his personal ethos to let the produce do the talking was very much at home.

    One of the best places for a steak, if not the best in Sydney. Amazing decor and well placed on the harbour for amazing views. Highly recommended to go to, will be returning soon.

    We’ll definitely will go again... The steak was perfect.. The staffs were sooo polite and helpful.????????????. The price it’s ok. Next we will come with some friends. Can’t wait.

    entree's and oysters were amazing, fish was splendid, had the rib eye 300g medium rare and was nice but very overpriced at $90, expected a better steak for that price, but overall gets a 9/10 for me would go back, great service and the food was top knotch!

    This is a lovely, old building in a great location on the harbour front. Unfortunately we found the food to be over-priced and disappointing. Our appetizers were good, but the lobster tail I ordered was overcooked and dry, only improved when we requested butter to go with it. What was described as "salad" accompanying the lobster tail turned out to be a few sprigs, albeit with a delicious dressing. The lobster ravioli was good but it was a small portion for the price. The sauce was wonderful.

    I had seen reviews that said that the wait staff were not attentive. How wrong could they be. Food was fantastic, service was spot on and the price was reasonable given that this is a high class establishment with a spectacular setting.

    We had an amazing night in 6 Head!! I’m confident to say that its customer service is one of the best in Sydney. Wonderful opera house and harbour view. Food is absolutely divine yet reasonable price. The extensive list of wine is always the highlight. Great place for date night or casual dinner!

    We have been to this resto a few times b4 since its opening. Unfortunately food quality this time was NOT quite the same as previously, for same dishes ordered.

    The food was simply fantastic, however, the overall experience was impacted by the cumbersome service received from the various waiters who looked after us. The Sommelier was excellent and attentive, however other waiter's lacked attention, courtesy and simple things like forgetting drinks, only giving two dessert menus, being asked if we wanted to order dessert, then walking away when we said yes, etc. Would highly recommend if the service could be improved significantly

    Loved the meal, the sommelier was especially helpful after hearing what we ordered to suggest a great wine to go alongside that didn’t break the bank. Will be back for sure.

    We ordered Oysters, kingfish carpaccio, salad, 1 kilo Tomahawk, Broccoli and a cheese plate. Flavours are off the charts fantastic - and service is overall good- a bit slow, but understandable given the amount of tables and running around the staff are having to keep up with. We Will be back.
