A Bout De Souffle, ça a commencé avec la grande amitié entre les deux associés, Alain et Liza. Deux personnalités opposées, mais qui se complètent à la perfection, vous offrant le talent du chef Alain Planson, grand amoureux de saveurs inédites, et de son équipe de jeunes cuisiniers, et l'accueil chaleureux et joyeux de Liza qui se chargera d'agrémenter votre passage au restaurant.
N'oubliez pas de flatter l'ego de la serveuse, elle vous offrira un shot à vous en couper le souffle !

Le chef vous propose une cuisine raffinée et créative, où l'exigence quant à la qualité des produits est de rigueur.
Ici, on met en avant les viandes françaises telles que le Veau élevé sous la mère, l'Entrecôte de l'Aubrac à 6 semaines de maturation, et l'arrivage de poissons frais du mardi au vendredi.

Pour accompagner vos plats, on vous propose une carte des vins variée, et Talbot, Pécharmant, Mercurey, Margaux, Pauillac, Pouilly fumé, Sancerre et bien d'autres se chargeront de contenter vos palais !

Le chef vous suggère ses ravioles de foie gras et sa salade de crabe en entrée, et ne manquez pas, en guise de dessert, l'incontournable et divine brioche perdue, recouverte de son caramel au beurre salé pour finir votre soirée.

Nous avons réservé par le biais de La Fourchette. Notre demande d'avoir une table à l'écart a été respectée.
Accueil chaleureux et le service à l'écoute des demandes des clients avec peu de temps d'attente entre chaque plat. La présentation des mets était recherchée, soignée et les produits de très bonne qualité.
Point faible : peu de choix des desserts. Nous gardons cette bonne adresse.

La découverte de ce restaurant est une très agréable surprise. Une cuisine authentique, respectueuse du produit et préparée avec panache. Un vrai plaisir pour l'oeil et pour les papilles que ces plats tous différents et tous parfaitement cuisinés. Bravo également pour l'accueil et le service discret et efficace.

Excellent preparation of everything . We had pulpe/octopus and foie gras to start; both amazing. For dinner I had roast cod and he had turbot; again both perfect. Clearly chef takes great pride in his skills. This was one of the best meals I've ever eaten. We began the meal with a Kir and amouse-bouche from the kitchen. Complimented our meal with a lovely white wine and ended with a "digestive".
Note: the name refers to the film "Breathless" that was filmed on this street and has nothing to do with beaten egg whites.

Friendly welcome, good menu, very well prepared and presented food. The Fork discount made the meal very good value. Would certainly return to A Bout de Souffle.

Great atmosphere. We were a big party so we tasted most of the items on the carte. All were very good, simple but creative. The few wines we tried were good and the service was awesome. Definitely a 10/10.

Really good place if you want to eat some nice home made food. Warm welcome and nice waitress.

This was a wonderful restaurant. Really friendly staff, helped a lot with translations of the menu, and the food was some of the best I've had. It was the perfect way to kick off our anniversary weekend.

Other reviews of the restaurant are pretty much spot on. The woman serving in the dining room is very welcoming and helpful explaining the various dishes offered. There are many original, interesting, tasty things on the menus. Even old standards are given an update, like leg of lamb with a citrusy gravy that was outstanding and a creme brulee flambeed with Grand Marnier that was simply out of this world.

Really nice food and innovative menu - would definitely recommend this place!! The waiter was extremely attentive. Could do with some English translations on the menu but that was probably the only negative
