We expected slightly better quality of food for a Michelin * restaurant. The lighting kept flickering & the sommelier needed a breath mint.

A restaurant with a view. The staff are very attentive and are bilingual so they can translate all the complicated issues to your hearts content. Which makes a change. The menu is quite expensive, but about what she would expect for a Michelin star and it is certainly original. Our main courses of fish were outstanding in the quality of the actual fish and also the presentation. We had the benefit of a lot of starters and pre-desserts to enjoy. Much use of local herbs again. All carefully described to you. Almost to the hillside where they live. Our only slight criticism is that there was Muzak in our ears. Also, the owner seem to have a dog which was allowed to wonder around freely, sniffing it our toes not really a problem but it might have been. Much use of local herbs again. They ended brilliantly with a soufflé blackberry, which was outstanding. And then, of course more little things to eat, and then they gave us a little gift of a brioche for the next day. Can you sit outside overlooking the view and in the far distance, you can watch the planes at Calvary airport if you really are so inclined. Although it is on the road it is not a very noisy road but somehow it would’ve been so much better if it hadn’t been there. recommended if you have the money.

We thank you for this very nice comment. However, we have noted your restraint when it comes to the dog wandering on the terrace. It is therefore not the dog of the owner of the establishment, but that of a customer whom we refused at the restaurant. Dogs are not allowed to roam freely on the terrace of the establishment.

This restaurant was fantastic. Delicious and interesting menu, excellent service and good wine list. The best meal we had in the area by far.

This was an amazing culinary experience! The restaurant has one Michelin star, but it might as well have two based on the chef's skill, the great service, and the ambiance.
