About the restaurant A Casaluna

"DINNER IS SERVED! - the restaurant A Casaluna took up its domicile close to the Jardin du Palais Royal in the 1st arrondissement of Paris. Here, Corsica is in the spotlight, and it will be in a rustic and cozy setting that you will eat your meal. Stonewalls, old fireplace, velvet armchairs, the stage is set.

ON THE PLATE - behind his stove, the chef puts small dishes in large ones to delight your gourmet taste buds! Corsican cold cuts, candied eggplants, sardines, roasted wolffish in the style of Calvi will get you to discover the delicacies of the region.

SWEET NOTE - A Casaluna is also inventive sweets: Monte Cinto, a reinvented Mont Blanc or the sphere, a crunchy meringue with vanilla cream inside and raspberry-myrtle sherbet. Appointment made."

High quality food, friendly service, restaurant decor is great, Historic, classy with no fuss, surroundings of Palais Royal are a treat to stroll before or after the meal. Lunch menus are reasonably priced, but if you choose "à la carte" better use "the fork" voucher.

Really cool space. The brick and the design and the location all make for a really cool place. The food was great. Very happy with this place.

Lovely restaurant and the food was very good. It would be overly expensive at full price .

Enjoyed an amazingly delicious meal at A Casaluna. The beef tartar is so incredibly rich and bright in flavor. The white chocolate mint custard dessert was also fantastic. The decor is quite charming and the staff is very attentive.

Uneven. My husband had the best meal he'd had in a few weeks (entrée- Sardines. Plat- lamb). Mine was flavorless and had unpleasant textures (entrée- vegetable torte. Plat- sanglier). The Corsican red wine was excellent; the beer was also delicious and ice-cold-- very good. Service was friendly and prompt, but also uneven. For example, we were able to get another glass of wine quickly, but had to wait to get the carafe d'eau refilled. Since the prices on this restaurant are a level higher than a bistro, I expected more. If you go, order the lamb.

Fish is really delicious and we like the decrations of the restaurant. But people should go on working days, the price is expensive on weekends.

Unfortunately, the wine glass had lipstick on it, so I sent it back. We had a very hard time getting anyone attention when we needed it and the bill was wrong. We live in Paris and I was disappointed.
