The starters which included bread, ham and melons were not really fresh. The served bread was old and dry. The melons tasted like they were already cut a few hours before. The meal afterwards was deep below averarge quality and way to overprized for this kind of quality and the location. Also the service was not really good, they were not very friendly and customer focused. As an example we ordered water and they just put a plastic bottle on the table without fillig our Glases. We also waited very long for the bill and the food even if they resturant was nearly empty but with many waitreses. All in all absolutely not recommended if you are searching for good food, good service or good prices.

Duas décadas de experiência em saber receber A Cozinha do Português tem o conceito de cozinha de autor sem que isso pese na conta. O chefe Jorge cruza os sabores tradicionais portugueses e mediterrânicos com apontamentos contemporâneos, apresentando uma cozinha de fusão criativa, num ambiente descontraído e informal.

Com portas abertas há mais de 20 anos, o restaurante alia o saber receber ao prazer pela boa gastronomia. As suas origens remontam a Valadares como um pequeno restaurante familiar, onde a qualidade dos pratos foram dando nome e reputação à casa.

Atualmente, com novas instalações na praia da Madalena, mantém a boa cozinha que pratica, a cordialidade do serviço e a excelente garrafeira.
