Second Time we have Visited --We Recommend booking in advance , as on both occasions people who haven't booked had to go else were as fully booked all night , we cannot recommend this restaurant enough , It on our must eat list now

The meals where not as good as before

We had the best possible service from friendly and courteous waiters who were able to translate to English but respected our preference to use our limited Portuguese. The food was very good, although we would have preferred a less stringy cheese in the vol-au-vent. They produced excellent vegetables (rare in Portugal) and should seek advice from specialists on extending their vegetarian options.

An excellent restaurant in a very nice village. We started with a shrimp cocktail which was of excellent taste. For the main course I had the entrecôte which was perfect and my wife the cod. The desserts were really superb. The friendliness of the staff and the entourage are also great. You can order a bottle of wine from the wine card but also the house wines red and white are good. I seriously don’t know any negative point I could mention. I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who do not want to go to the beach located fast food restaurants which serve food not close to the quality of this restaurant.

As always, owner and staff very welcoming and efficient. Menu and choice of wines very good - presentation and quality of starters and main course of duck confit excellent. Very pleasant evening, rounded off with superb Creme Brûlée and Espresso Martini. Looking forward to our next visit.

Excellent service, food is great and it’s presentation as well. Very good value for your money and I would highly recommend it. Maybe book your table in advance since it can get quite busy.
