En una de las plazas más encantadoras del barrio Gòtic, en pleno centro, y dentro uno de los hoteles más bellos de la Ciudad Condal, el Relais & Chateaux Hotel Neri, encontramos esta novísima propuesta liderada por el chef Alain Guiard. Este cocinero dio que hablar con una hamburguesería primero, Santa Burg, y con una ambiciosa vermutería después, La Mundana.

En a restaurant, Alain ofrece una propuesta sorprendente y divertida que bebe de la Barcelona más cosmopolita y, lo mejor, a unos precios muy razonables. Ningún plato supera los quince euros, toda una rareza si tenemos en cuenta el lujoso espacio en el que se encuentra y lo encantador del restaurante, con paredes de piedra y arcos medievales. En su tentadora carta triunfan el ravioli de parmentier de boletus y tartufata, panceta ibérica y gelée de jamón; el carpaccio de gamba, lima-limón y estragón; o el huevo deleitado en su cáscara con parmentier, anguila ahumada, espuma de carbonara y tobiko.

INSIDER tip

Su arroz seco de pichón y parfait de sus hígados al moscatel es una maravilla.

        It is quite difficult to find & should be marked more clearly as being within the hotel. Ingredients were 1st class but the sauce for the ceviche and russian salad were both too bland to complement well. €14 for a gin & tonic is criminally expensive!!

        Staff spoke excellent English and were very knowledgeable about both the food and wine, which was delicious. The restaurant is not one of the cheaper options in Barcelona but was worth every cent. Can thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

        Disapointing.
        We arrived early and had a glass of wine in the bar where we found dirty tables and pieces of a broken bottle on the floor.
        Service was well intentioned but unorganized and acted randomly sometimes.
        References were missing from the short and expensive wine list and we were only informed after asking for them.
        Food was excellent but some of the portions were ridiculous.
        Maybe we’re not that travelled but we’re used to a bit more food and a better service at restaurants in a Relais & Cateaux Hotel.

        Delicious and well presented dishes. Sat inside, relaxing, quiet atmosphere, after a busy day this was appreciated. Staff were attentive but relaxed.

        Staff were really friendly and helpful. Not the best for vegetarian but the staff were very accommodating. Salad was slightly over priced but the food and flavours was otherwise amazing. The French toast and smoked milk ice cream was amazing.
