Very nice and cosy restaurant with a lovely garden in the back. Highly recommended for families with children - you can enjoy your drink/ food in peace, while they are playing at the outside playground or the one inside. The food was delicious as well - we tried baked octopus with white asparagus and truffle risotto.

We’ve been going to Aan Tafel for almost 2 years now. The food has always been really good (particularly the vegetarian burger), but the service has finally caught up with it. We were a table of 6 and for the first time we ordered and finished our main meal within an hour. Before it could take up to 2 hours so we always planned to have a light snack before going. The food was as delicious as always and we were very pleased with the improved service delivery time. Our server was also great! Look forward to going back, as always.

Unstable table base. Uneven tabletop. Ordered drinks, got the wrong drinks. Given an old menu. Waited 1 hour for starters. Not told that it had bacon on top of a vegiterian soup starter. Waited another hour for mains. Was grilled mushrooms on half a bag of spinich without much of any herbs or seasoning. Very disapointing all round.

Food is good, could beat bit more, but ok. The service was very bad unfortunately, we had to wait about 20 mins to order the first drink and about 70 mins until we received the food. The restaurant is ok, but very loud.

Great service and great food! Had an amazing time. Really like to go back to sit on the beautiful terrace! See you soon. Also the supermarket is amazing! They have a lot of vegan products.

I love this place and been coming for years now! The garden terrace is beautiful and the food is good, even great at times. But one thing that consistently annoys me is the terrible service. Expect to sit for 10 minutes watching the waitresses chat to each other or hang around while you wait for someone to remember to give you a menu, and they won’t be telling you about the specials so you’ll have to figure those out for yourself. And this is normal and have always been like this and doubt it will change. I obviously keep coming, so the rest is worth it. But if you like me worked in the industry and know how good service can be when you feel seen, prepare to be bothered!

Very nice food and excellent service, the location is great, i highly recommend that restaurant, price is fare, it's a great food experience, I'm going back again for sure.
