Local pub that always serves a great meal at a reasonable price. Steaks were cooked fantastic and service friendly and greet you with a smile.

Food was a little disappointing tonight. Usually a reasonable feed but prices have gone up and food quality not what it used to be. Will be back but hope it gets improved. Worth another chance.

As soon as we walked in “We were waiting for you to turn up. You’re our last booking for tonight.” Not welcome or anything. Then he took our menus away before we had ordered!! Food was meh. Chairs were comfy.

Food was fresh and delicious. Staff were welcoming and attentive. I liked the recent changes to the dining area. The 20% seniors discount on main meals was appreciated

When we arrived we were told there was no steak, no barramundi and no prawns. That's half your menu unavailable. Had we known beforehand we would have gone elsewhere.

Hi Henry, Aberfoyle Hub Tavern is sorry for your experience. Sounds like the staff did not explain enough to you. We do have steak option of rump and eye fillet, prawns are now garlic prawns. Barra unfortunately is unavailble. Supply is a real problem for business at moment as you can also see in the supermarkets. If you felt like half the menu was missing the hotel does apologise. The place was not busy but food came out late and at different times. Drink was forgotten, service attitude was poor, Vegetables not cooked. Food was bland. Give it a miss unless u want a Fawlty Towers experience without any fun.

Food was good, the service was just ok. there was a mix up with the order so we had a bit of a delay on our food. But over all it was still a good restaurant to go to.

Great service, they accommodated us initially booking for an outside table but wanting to movie inside as it was cold. Food was fresh and tasty, normal pub fare but very nice.

Staff were friendly and welcoming as always. We all had the Steak and it was cooked perfectly. Salad came without dressing as requested. We always look forward to going there for dinner.

Food was ok but the chicken schnitzel was super thin, almost no taste. Used by be very good but ours appeared to have been sliced in half. Otherwise the steak meal was good however vegetables appeared straight from the freezer.

We had a great lunch together. The staff were like old mates, remembering us and greeting us warmly. The food was really nice and very reasonably priced.
