About the restaurant Abrásame - Malasaña

¿A qué estás esperando?

The beginning was not so good. I made a reservation for 8.30pm ( a little early, I know, but we are not from Spain so eat a little earlier), but when we arrived at that time the restaurant was closed.

The restaurant as a nice atmosphere. The food was good, but the price and the portions were disappointing. Maybe because we booked with a 50% discount, but especially the portion of verduras was very small. It were maybe 9 pieces of small parts and I think are way overpriced.

The castillos I ordered were not even available. How is that even possible at the beginning of a long weekend. The chicken I order instead tasted very good though, but the portion was a little small.

The service is not the strongest point of this restaurant neither. The woman who services us was not particularly nice. Maybe she had a bad evening, but I didnt felt very welcome.

Concluding, the food and atmosphere is good, the portions and the service a little less. I would give it a 6,5.
