This restaurant should be on Michelin guide. Usually we use Michelin guide to choose restaurants. Since I was very disappointed the other night, I decided to drop the Michelin guide and try my luck based on online reviews. Glad I did it. The food and service here exceeded our expectations. On our way back to the hotel, we rebooked the dinner for tomorrow night .

So good we had to return. With 4 people times 3 courses over 2 nights we had a chance to try a lot of the menu. Every dish was excellent. The venison sauce was so good. So was the chestnut risotto. The staff is lovely and helpful in English. Nice space too. If you visit Santa Croce or stay in the neighborhood, find this place

Comida divinal, desde as entradas até as sobremesas, tudo muito saboroso, e bem apresentado. Uma ementa com sabores tipicamente italianos mas muito diferente do que nos é apresentado noutros restaurantes. Quanto ao serviço, excelente também: funcionários muito simpáticos e atenciosos. Restaurante relativamente pequeno, sossegado e muito bem decorado. Recomendo vivamente!

Found this restaurant highly rated on TripAdvisor; had clearly marked gluten free options for my sister. All 4 of us agreed it was by far the best meal we've had in Italy so far (2 nights in Venice & today was our 2nd day in Florence). Highly recommend!

One of the two best restaurants we dined in during our week in Florence. Welcoming and friendly staff, well prepared and delicious food. The seafood stew and chestnut risotto were wonderful

Buena comida, escasa la copa de vino que sirven al no pedir una botella. Solo decir que estuvimos un poco incomodas al estar rodeadas de mosquitos.

We loved this restaurant! The ambiance was relaxing, the service friendly and helpful, and the food was perfection. They did a combo meat and cheese board with the best sun dried tomatoes, and though my fiancé and I couldn’t agree on which pasta was best, we did agree that it was some of the best pasta we ever had (and we aim to go to the best restaurants wherever we travel)! Try the tiramisu— you’ll thank us later

Greeted warmly with care taken to find a table that suited us. Imaginative menu with food beautifully cooked and presented. The staff were charming, efficient and incredibly hard working. Had to wait a little for dessert and coffee but appreciated how busy they were with only 2 serving staff. Would highly recommend.
