Based on the reviews we went to this restaurant however it was a great disappointment. Food not great, restaurant was cold, on the better side service was very good!

I dont know why others rated this so highly. To start, the bread was cold and stale. The taggliatele was tasty but not special. The ribeye with mushroom sauce had good flavor but was gristly. There must be better places to eat in this town.

Friendly and attentive staff. lovely surrounding and great atmosphere. food was overall good, excellent steak sashimi, melt in mouth fillet with tasty parmesan crisp and basil pesto and excellent pasta dish. few minor issues - octopus under seasoned and lacked flavour. hated getting crisps (chips) with fillet steak. overall i would recommend and would go back.

If you crave steaks, this restaurant’s for you. But if you like finely prepared pasta and seafood, this restaurant’s for you also. We had the marauding shrimp, grilled octopus, cuttle fish ink pasta and seared snapper and all were top notch except for the pulpo which I found the octopus itself a little “tough” when you’re used to eating it in Astoria, Queens. Etna Bianco recommendation was spot on and a bargain to boot if you like dry whites.

Very cozy place, amazing food. I had the spicy prawns which absoletly fantastic. A recipe I have never tried before. I am only sorry we went there in our last night in Taormina. We would have definitely returned to try more dishes. My son and husband had stakes which were also very tasty! Congrats to the owner, to the chef and the staff!

We visited Adduma twice whilst staying in Taormina. The restaurant is just off the busy main street but easy enough to find. The menu is a little different from most others in the town as it offers premium grilled meats as well as a range of Sicilian staples often with a twist. Diners at an adjoining table ordered a rib of beef that came with a hot plate to adjust cooking to individual preference. The meat looked and smelt delicious - the diners (from USA) confirmed how good it was. However, my wife and I had already ordered a smaller fillet steak each that was very nicely cooked and full of flavour. We also had the mussels cooked with ginger and a pasta dish with a cauliflower sauce. Both were excellent. All the staff were friendly and helpful - nothing seemed too much trouble. Unlike many other restaurants in the town, we never felt rushed to finish and vacate our table. In summary, if you want something a little different from most other Taormina restaurants, the Adduma is definitely worth a visit. Recommended

The menu also has a lot of seafood and fish options, so not just meat. Lovely and calm atmosphere. Food servings were generous and we got cotton candy with the bill which was a nice surprise.
