Great meal! Highly recommend. Not cheap, but worth trying. Try the suckling pork, stunning. Great desserts! Sommelier was very good, advised us on a local red, Perfect choice to accompany the suckling pig! Restuarant is beautiful, 12th century building. unfortunately, restaurant was quiet.

The service and attention to detail are wonderf at this beautiful restaurant. The three amuse bouche were very, very good, the whipped manchego and fresa a highlight as was a little crispy ball of queso y jamon. We ordered a Syrah from the Chef’s vineyard and it did not disappoint. Beautiful nose and color and delicious. (And not especially pricey for a restaurant of this kind). Our starters were good to really good - the standout being my daughter’s Squid, rice and saffron which could almost have been a main. My Pumpkin Flower Tempura was good and my wife’s salad was very nice with some very nice flavors. I ordered the Partridge for my main as it is a local specialty and it was terrific. Very well presented and delicious. My wife’s lamb was good but not spectacular- and my daughter’s Sea Bream was also good but not great. Our dessert of the day was ice cream with figs, a wonderful sauce and was beautifully presented and delicious. In Addition, another plate to share had a spearmint ice cream that was divine and some local Mazapan, with fruit. Really, really good. We were so full that we couldn’t eat another thing but some homemade cookies were delivered which we gladly took home for tomorrow! The chef, Adolfo, is a wonderful host and took us up to the Terraza on the roof with a Panoramic view of the city. He pointed out the important landmarks and We talked about food and wine and tennis. It was a great finish to a lovely evening.

Adolfo is hidden in a quiet corner off the tourist track. The food was spectacular, absolutely Michelin quality and the prices were modest compared to Los Angeles and Michelin starred restaurants in Spain. Three flavorful amuse bouche with our carte fixe meal was plenty of food , at €69 a bargain. Just came from a week in San Sebastian and three days in Barcelona, this was the best restaurant we found.

The reason I rated the food so poorly was that I expect much more of the flavor of the dishes according to their presentation and description. Mine were almost flavorless. On the contrary, the desserts were superb, I really loved them. The atmosphere and ambient was cozy The staff was extremely friendly and helful

The food was delicious. The foods that were paired together in the dish were inventive and delicious overall. The staff was excellent. Professional, warm, and courteous. I would recommend this restaurant to my friends for a delicious meal in a comfortable atmosphere. Even the restaurant itself is historic (an old Jewish house).

We did appreciate the food overall, though there was no wow factor for any of the dishes. For that price we would expect to have something amazing. Also, and it might be a coincidence, but being the only couple in our late 30’s while all others were 10-15 years older made it seem like we missed a few “standard” attentions. The only table without flowers was us. Or when we ordered a 4eur coffee that didnt get the usual snacks coming with it (while the other tables did). It’s not because i am wearing a tshirt and have no gray hair that I am a different customer. A couple of extra notes : my wife’s napkin was torn, and sewed back very barely. Again not something that i would expect there. One of the (junior) waiters swore because he forgot one word in Spanish. No drama for us, but when you serve - you should put on a mask and never swear. For the positives, the somelier was great, has an entertaining way of opening the wine and was of great advice. The building is historical and they managed to put it well in perpective. Again, the food wasnt bad at all. Just the experience didnt rise up to expectations with the extra little details missing to make it fully enjoyable. It doesnt take much to get there.

We were only couple dining at eight thirty. By ten thirty total was six people so not much atmosphere here. When we left the somewhat sombre establishment we heard music in the streets and people laughing. Wished we had gone for a 15euro tourist menu somewhere else. Four waiting staff for three tables but I still had to ask to have our wine replenished twice. My main course was served on a chipped plate. Food is OK with an emphasis on protein and zero carbs. Expensive.
