A rare pearl among our careful selection of the best addresses right now

We were slightly disappointed by our dinner to be honest. There was a couple of good points: the room is nice, the waiter kindly explained each and every dish, and the chef visibly puts a lot of thought and work in his cuisine. However, we must admit the service was way too long between each dish and the food wasn’t a success. It felt like it was too original, with surprising (but unfortunately failing) ingredient combinations. Simplifying the cuisine to a familiar and appreciated dish with one of your original twist (e.g. the beetroot and coffee sauce) could improve the overall experience tremendously. We ordered the 3-tempo surprise menu and received 3 very small dishes with a long wait between each, and were all disappointed. It’s too bad, because there is clearlyhigh skills and potential at Adria. Maybe it was just bad luck for us on this menu. We wish you the best for the future

We were both truly disappointed. To us the food was mostly (one dish was OK) all but inedible. No kidding the worst meal of our lives! We did not order either the veal brains or the duck hearts but doubt this would have changed our opinion. Very strange flavors. The restaurant was full and clearly very popular so it must have been us. It is only a few doors down from another restaurant (Pouzenc) with somewhat nonstandard fair and we find it spectacular and eat there often. I do not know what else to say.

Hidden away from the main street, this is a little gem of a restaurant. The food menu changes each day it seems - they are smaller plates you can share - we picked 4 and it was the perfect amount. We are both still dreaming of the steak tartar - one of the best I have ever had. Basically, the food was divine. And while we had read the reviews and picked it based on those I can honestly say we were both still impressed at how good it was. The wine they recommended was brilliant as well and the whole thing was excellent value. I would recommend this place highly.
