A short taxi ride from the centre of Bologna however, well worth the effort. The food is fresh and delicious. Staff were super friendly and explained the menu in detail. We enjoyed beef cheek burger, pulled pork pasta, sides of potatoes and beans. So yummy. Basic ingredients but elevated in a clever way to make them special.

Wonderful ambience & service from the moment we arrived. Excellent wine suggestion from a small producer in NE Italy, which they were beginning to support…small production wine from bespoke producers. The food, whilst mainly smoked, had the most delicious, subtle flavours, each dish unique & memorable. We walked from our hotel in 25mins & it is in a really nice neighbourhood. The ambiance of the space is spot on, with timber furniture & washed concrete walls. The best part is that it is not your standard Bologna / Italian fare. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

Food was great, the braised beef particularly was so tender. Excellent sides, potatoes tasty and crispy, the smoky beans were amazing. My only criticism was the lack of bbq sauce available to go with the pork. I appreciated the fact they separated both and didn't drown the pork in bbq sauce, however if you're going to have bbq sauce as a side, at least put offer more than a 25 ml shot glass of it. Food itself is great, just a bit tight on the bbq sauce.

Secret oasis in Bologna. As the restaurant is not inside the main city center, we have not seen it but found via theFork. It is veery tiny and has limited space but taste of the food is just the opposite. Staff is also welcoming and you can easily find high level English speaking staff which is not the case all the restaurants in Bologna. For sure we will return

Small place with great food. Staff were lovely - special mention which shows care and attention is that when asked for recommendations she referred low cost option (not disclosing beforehand) which paired really well making our evening cheaper than expected! Food is great. Really recommend the beef cheek and the tartare (maybe not for some!)

Found this restaurant through a Web search engine. Although we were late for our reservation, as we couldn't find a taxi, we notified the restaurant and we got a very very warm welcome. The service was excellent. The waiter explained everything and we decided to share all dishes. Nice selection of wines and beers. Very very tasty food.
