Unsure why this restaurant has been given a michelin star. Actually I am unsure if they have one. Regardless, service was hectic as servers kept dropping and breaking utensils on the floor. We were unfortunate enough to be seated right next to the kitchen where all of these were happening. I don't mind it breakages as accidents happen during dinner service but it got frequent throughout my 2.5h of dining experience there and it made the ambience very unmichelin-y. My partner ordered the wine pairing and the lady explained the pairings from the start and stopped when we got to the main dishes which I thought it would be more important to know what the wine pairing is etc. However, certain waiters/managers were excellent and friendly so I wouldn't fault that. 700+€ for both parties + 2 bottles of still water + wine pairing. Would we go there again? No. Is the food worth the money and the amount of time we spent there? No. Before booking, please check why this restaurant only has 4.3 stars on google review. I should have went with my gut and booked elsewhere for Valentine's Day. I felt like our money and time would have been better spent at a restaurant with no michelin stars with better service and food. Disclaimer: this is not our first time eating fine dining so I wrote this review with unbiasedness towards fine dining.

September 2022, Expression Menu with wine pairing The food was overall fantastic, with some minor misses thrown in. Considering how seasonal the menu is, I'd bet that going at a different time of year would be a completely different experience. The menu progressed nicely, starting off light and fresh and ending with an amazing fish course and a great lamb course. The dessert was a nice ending but didn't fit the experience of the rest of the menu. The food at Agape was let down by the service. We were admittedly a large party (8), but we've dined at other restaurants rated in this class with MUCH better service. The front of house seemed understaffed for a full house. They seemed very flustered with service, often putting food or wine on the table with no explanation. More than one time, we had to call over the server to ask what we were being presented with. We had a diner with a shellfish allergy (which they asked about, and acknowledged) and she still got served a mussels course. They replaced the course after we reminded them, but this was clearly not their finest night of service. Overall, I'd be willing to give them another try based on the food, but I was disappointed in the service.

We had the lunch menu of 54 euros which is specially created for thefork festival. The price was quite reasonable considering it's a 1-star Michelin restaurant. We were quite happy with the food and service. The only critique I have is for the dessert whose taste was a bit flat.

Highly disappointing, over priced and poor service on food side. Excellent wine recommendations but at high price. I highly recommend to think twice before chosing this restaurant. Dinner for 4 persons at 1600 Euros, I believe you can capture more value elsewhere.

We had an excellent dinner! Selected the carte blanche menu with the wine pairing. The wine list is huge and has some incredible natural wines (that you won’t find in other Michelin restaurants) That being said the Sommelier took care of the pairing- She was super creative, the wine flowed perfectly with each dish. She answered all of our questions and explained everything. The portions were generous, the scallops, lobster and pasta, and wild boar tartar with Caviar were my highlights. Service was as expected, the owner even came over to announce a few of the dishes and talk with us. Very friendly and warm establishment. Looking forward to coming back. Big thanks to the chef and team

Expected more. Servico was kind but not as clock work as other Michelin star restaurants. Food good, not impressive.

Let’s start with the positives. We did have nice food with some interesting combinations. I particularly liked a beetroot, goats cheese and praline dish that has a lot of character. There was a pickled aubergine and pork belly dish that was also nice, very well cooked and great flavors. In terms of presentation, we really enjoyed one of the first small bites which was slices of meat that they brought out on a bone. The dishwater was pretty and the decor of the place was also nice with beautiful decanters along the sides of the room and some petrified wood on the table. However, many things made our night there a rather disappointing experience. - Service was a bit rushed, they served us focaccia to start the meal and I didn’t even have time to finish that they moved it and started serving the next bite. I also had questions about the food sometimes but struggled to find a moment to ask them, as they always were moving away as soon as they were done serving. Not once were we asked how our meal was or if everything was alright. - Despite service being rushed, they were in no rush to give us our bill. We waited about 30 minutes after our last bite before being able to pay and leave. After 15 minutes of waiting, I even got my credit card out and put it in the table. I ended up having to grab someone’s attention after 30 minutes, but even this was a struggle as they were running around and did not look in my direction for quite a while. After paying, we had to wait some more and eventually grab someone else’s attention to get them to bring back our coats. When they finally went to grab them, they forgot to bring my bag and had to go back to fetch it after I asked where it was. - One course had a mussel in the middle of it, and the hair of the mussel in my boyfriends dish was not removed. - Knives were not changed between courses, so food from previous courses would stay on them which really wasn’t ideal. Another comment on the knives is that the blade on them is upside down from what you’d normally expect (curved edge was blunt, straight edge was sharp). It was very confusing and I noticed that everyone in the restaurant was actually cutting their food with the blunt side of the knife! - The dessert was a bit too salty and one of the two small “mignardises” after the desert was the exact same combination of flavors (which isn’t that original to begin with as it was chocolate and hazelnut!) - Our water was empty and wasn’t served for more than 30 minutes. Eventually when I was thirsty I grabbed the water myself. - One of the champagne glasses we were given was chipped. - Despite issues we had, staff did not particularly apologize (late bill, no water, chipped glass… etc) Overall, this was not at all worth one Michelin star in my opinion.

Food is excellent! The spacing between table could be improved to give more privacy on different groups and to prevent messing up the table of the other ????

We had the Carte Blanche 10y anniversary tasting menu with wine pairing. The food was amazing with the exception of two dishes (which were just fine). There’s room for improvement on the wine: no sommelier, the wine is not poured at the table and there’s very little explanation what wine you’re drinking.
