We had a delicious lunch in a modern but cosy setting in the heart of Brindisi. The antipasti was great, quite different to the standard fare in most of the local restaurants but each dish was interesting and prepared with care and attention. For main course we had risotto with white truffles which was rich and delicious. Paired with a delicious Puglian rosato, who could ask for more?! Overall, a great experience and we will definitely return.

Coherent with their message, an interesting food experience, unexpected in a town like Brindisi. Some dishes a bit messy, wine list to be improved, but this is kind of restaurant you might find in Milan or Rome. Research and modern food preparation really interesting, service is accurate and friendly

Agonera represents what I’d like to call The New Italian Cuisine: traditional methods and flavours meets the world - and the result is spectacular. The dishes are complex - sometimes even a little bit too much - but the chef never looses the compass of balance, and one always knows what one is eating! The selection of wines is very personal, with strong emphasis on local producers; we had remarkable roses and whites which navigated carefully in the ocean of flavours offered by the dishes. Service is impeccable and very attentive, and the maitre de salle is a very knowledgeable and friendly man who knows his restaurant inside out. Only point of criticism: the servings are too large! Be careful when deciding for more than one antipasto!!!

The waiter was a bit cockey. We tried to order baccala, but he said they had ran out of the dish. 10 mins later he offers the same dish to the table next to us. Didn’t live up to the hype at all...

Very tasty food and good wine. The food serving comes with a little twist. Good service and nice atmosphere. Would go back if we visit Brindisi again.
