If you want great service order takeaway. Unfortunately dine in service was poor as their focus was clearly on deliveries. Which is a same as the food is great.

They had little alphabet glitters to keep kids busy. Plus they had papers laid on table tops and colored pencils on which kids can freely scribble. Kept kids busy, allowing adults to enjoy the lovely dinner.

We were pleased that AJs hasn't lost its mojo. We've eaten here (under various owners) for over 20 years. Good, authentic Indian food - particularly live their Naan bread. Pleasant, friendly service.

Nice local restaurant, achari masala beef, anardana chicken, garlic naan are very nice and generous, perfect for cold night. services are quick and detail.

Came with my two daughters, 11 and 13. Friendly welcome and service were generally good without being overly fussy. We had Samosa (x2) and Chilli Chicken to start. The samosa was a tad overcooked - the pastry was too hard, but the filling was generous and tasty. The Chilli chicken was tasty but lacked punch. For our mains, we had Butter Chicken (kids) and Chicken Chettinadu (myself), with Pilou Rice and a Keema Nann. The servings were very generous, and the kids loved the butter chicken. Again, sadly, the Chettinadu Chicken lacked any real heat - despite being rated 3, same as a Vindaloo - but it was tasty. We walked away very feed and happy, and I would pop in again if I was in the area,

We love indian cuisine and we love the food at AJ's. We are unfortunately not locals but since discovering AJ's we endeavour to eat there whenever we are in Sydney.

I had lamb naan and ended up getting food poisoning. Will never order again from AJ's Indian Restaurant again. Really disappointed with the food.

This is our first time returning since COVID hit and we were so happy to enjoy a delicious meal again. This is my favourite Indian Restaurant and there are so many dishes on the extensive menu, it is always a pleasure to try something new. There were 5 of us and we had the usual favourite of Butter Chicken but tried a few new dishes tonight and were not disappointed. Fantastic flavours and the best Naan Bread in Sydney :)

The food has always been good at AJ's - pity about the staff though, they were often inattentive when I raised my hand, they were either looking at their mobile phones or looking away at something else. This happened more than twice.
