About the restaurant Ajoblanco

"In the exquisite district of Sarrià-Sant Gervasi, in the calle Tuset 20 (between Travessera de Gràcia and Diagonal), you will find the famed restaurant Ajoblanco de Barcelona with design by the renowned interior designer Lázaro, creator of the most prestigious environments of the city. A perfect symbiosis of three concepts: design, good atmosphere, and excellent cuisine.

It is difficult to opt for a single suggestion when ordering, but you can start your meal with a bluefin tuna with avocado and tomato concasse. If you are from of those who venture with traditional flavors and new cuisine, try cod at low temperature with ajoblanco and piquillo pepper cream sauce. It is almost a requirement to try poultry eggs scrambled with slivers of ham. If you prefer something lighter, ask for a beef Tataki of the Basque country with horseradish sauce and truffle. All this with ingredients of the best cuisine of the market.

Tasteless tuna and super small portion..We booked with the app fork with a 30% offer, and we ordered a Tuna tataki and a ceviche of corvina. Probably they did not know we were in this place before. So here come the incredible surprise..my girlfriend ordered the same plate she did last time and it was exactly the half portion, from the photo of the plate we took before were 10 pieces of tuna and this time only 5 pieces. I would not recommend this place for the following reasons:
1 lack of ambient
2 poor service( we received water at the end of our meal, plus they did not apply the offer on the bill, only after requesting they did)
3 last but not least food quality is below the average.

We were here before and first time was really good and we had something to remember. This time we got portion size twice smaller for the exactly same dish. Didn't taste nothing. Left to continue lunch at the other place. A...and water I got the same time with out bill. Nice service guys.

Nice atmosphere. Very good food. Nevertheless some friends joined our reservation and as we were more than 6 people they said they couldn’t give the discount. :-(
