We were all hungry , None of us could finish our meal Risotto was bland mush, - dish of the day very disappointing, undistinguished, Restaurant had a very bad smell which interfered with enjoyment of our excellent wine

Great meal and wine. Service was a tad slow but very kind and attentive. I would highly recommend! The Pergola seating was really nice. Was great to get some fresh air.

It was good but not superb. I had chicken snd the skin was soft. The bread was excelldnt wigh the butter. And my entree came right out the fridge. But definitely recommandable.

Great food and plesant service. Reaonable prices compared to the experience. Lovely place. I would defenitly reccomend it to anyone arriving to chamonix

Initially found restaurant difficult to find because it’s within a hotel and we were on foot. The Manager was very helpful. I don’t eat meat so he adjusted one course that was supposed to have meat. The vegetarian risotto was possibly the best I’ve eaten and the chocolate pudding was superb!

Surprise find here in the winter city. Super cozy and comfortable. Food looks and taste delicious! Burst of flavours in each dish. Serving and portion is great! Salmon was amazingly succulent and pink. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Wonderful place =)

The service was some the friendliest and most hospitable we have experienced in Chamonix. The food was very good, their specials were creative and beautifully presented. A great value as well.

The BIB menu is really really good ! The staff very nice ! The only thing was they were serving the different plates too fast, without any rest In between (less than 2mn ....) It’s the first time I’ve seen a restaurant Going too fast!

The host Alex was amazing and took his time explaining all the menu options in English to us. It was also Valentine’s Day and they gave all 3 of us females a rose. They were also amenable to splitting the check in 3 ways. Amazing food and wine. Highly recommend!

From the moment we walked through the door of the Akashon, the staff was taking good care of us. The food was delicious, and fresh. Our server was on top of things, even when the restaurant was getting busier. Many choices for the main course, and desserts. We highly recommend this restaurant, and can't wait to return to The Akashon in Chamonix, France. A&B Parmley, Lyon, France.

The food was good, however, somehow we were served after people who arrived after us. It took over 25 minutes for someone to come to our table. There were all types of bugs flying around during dinner and paper came out of a bottle that had tap water in it. Very strange. I ordered a coke light but received a Coke Zero. I wish I had known before when I ordered that coke light wasn’t available. We also had an accidental extra charge on our bill. Our waitress took care of it immediately but still very weird. All of these things were minor but added together made for a dissatisfying meal.

The restaurant and staff are lovely and the service is great. Unfortunately the food just does not match. Our chicken supreme was very over cooked and rubbery, the pork belly still had lots of cartilage and looked poorly presented, lentils were quite average nothing to elevate them. I really wanted to enjoy this place but left feeling very underwhelmed.
