The meat was a bit dry and dull but was ok with onions parmesans and ketchup (my companion preferred the onions to the chicken - Akiba, Canberra (ACT)

We went for the Feed Me Menu, I chose to switch the fried rice to crispy eggplant. It tasted great (if not having a big portion - Akiba, Canberra (ACT)

Amazing food and service. Always a great atmosphere and sensible social distancing was in place. The only problem was our serve of Japanese fried chicken was too big and we left too full ;)

Food at Akiba is always top notch, service was quick, polite and efficient. Unfortunately, we were given a table at the bar, when I had hoped for a more intimate table setting as my husband and I were celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary. Will order take away from Akiba but won’t be dining in again.

Incredibly tasty food. I highly recommend the ‘feed me’ set menu. Great atmosphere and service. I was dining on my own during a business trip and was seated at the bar. They all made me feel very welcome.

It was great to be back after the lockdown. The food was amazing, as always, and staff friendly and attentive, again as always. Any allergies or menu change requests were handled with no fuss. Empty plates from everyone, including the youngest who can be a fussy eater.

Excellent food with great service! The booking system is extremely simple and the table was set and ready at the right time. There was no rush or pushiness from staff to leave the restaurant. The staff was wonderful and very kind and professional, the restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was great!

A favourite restaurant of my girlfriend and me. Hadn’t been able to visit due to COVID 19 but so glad it has reopened in its original form. Fabulous food and service - nothing has changed. We’ll be back again soon.

We had the feed me! Chef’s selection plus some oysters and everything was delicious. My favourite was the pork belly bao, but it was really hard to choose the best dish. The atmosphere was buzzing in spite of the current health problems. Happy to go back next time we’re in Canberra!

Had the 8 items menu- the first 3 were paced, then the larger portions all came at once and quite a long time later. Didn’t get to enjoy due to timing. Food nice. Had to wait long time for drinks.

We are so glad we found this restaurant! Since Jamie Oliver closed we've been looking for our "goto" restaurant in Canberra and now we have found it. The food was just glorious and the service perfect. The portions are deceptive and we probably could have done with 1 dish less than we ordered, but now we know. The drink selection in vast and our waiter helped us match our drinks to what we has chosen to eat.
