10/10The food was super tasty and superbly cooked, the service was top notch. We thoroughly enjoyed. We’d been eating fish for a few days so I had a fillet of beef it was cooked to perfection and my friend had the seafood linguine which she said was the best she’d had since arriving in Italy. Can’t recommend enough.

10/10The restaurant is away from the bustle of the center of Capri town and has a lovely view of the sea. We had the fresh catch (rockfish for two of us and sea bream for the other two) which is prepared by the table. The service was friendly and accommodating. I was surprised that it wasn’t crowded.

10/10Fabulous food. I had the crab and seafood linguine. Goodness it was amazing. Hubs had the ravioli, which he said was the best he’d tasted so far in Italy, and then the beef which was divine. Gorgeous setting and great service.

10/10Visited this restaurant based on some previous reviews. So very glad we did. We ended up early for our booking but enjoyed the view and excellent surroundings. The host and the staff were amazing. We were given a complimentary prosecco because we were celebrating our 38th wedding anniversary and a gorgeous table. We had an eggplant starter that was recommended as well as the whole snapper which was deboned in front of us. So delicious . We would have loved to try the dessert but could not fit it in. The limoncello spritz was the best of our trip so far. Highly recommend this restaurant for its fresh seafood and welcoming hosts. It was an anniversary night we will remember for a long time. Grazie mille.

10/10Excellent restaurant - the ambience, service, and food were all wonderful. Everything was incredibly fresh and the chef cooked everything perfectly in a spotless kitchen. Every person on the staff was super friendly and helpful, and sitting among the pines with a view of the ocean made it very romantic.

10/10The food was incredible, we can’t stop thinking about it. Had the catch of the day Capri style plus many other dishes. Antonio was a pleasure! He guided us through the menu and was such a pleasure to visit with. Any time on Capri make this a must go spot!

10/10One of the best evening dinning on Capri. We were a group of 9 people. Our waiter gave us very good recommendations for food and vine. We had fresh fish and meat. Prices are good. A wonderful evening

10/10We had one of our best meals while in Italy, here. Great menu, great views, attentive and friendly staff. Strange thought that I was not offered a wine list. Even though it was peak season, there weren't many customers the night we were there, although we ate early. Fresh seafood and everything was prepared perfectly. We did have a problem with bees, although we sat at the edge of their garden. They grow a lot of what they serve, another nice touch!

9/10Very nice location, just next to the worldwide famous via Camerelle. Food and wine were great with lot of choice and incredibly fresh seafood. Outstanding service with extremely fair treatment and outstanding value for money given the location. Added to my favourite list!

10/10We found this on TripAdvisor and booked ahead. We were so delighted by the whole experience. Ambiance, food, service- all impeccable. The owner Claudio stopped by to chat with us after our meal and he was charming and friendly. S beautiful evening.

6.5/10I was disappointed how much work you had to do for your food. Seafood wasn’t de-shelled and people at our table had finished their dinner before others even started. They didn’t have a cocktail menu and the cocktails were inconsistent without any prices. I wouldn’t go back other places are incredibly better

10/10This restaurant was recommended by a friend back home! Hands down my number 1 favourite restaurant. The food was AMAZING! I had nothing bad to say everything was so fresh, service was great and I liked that it was away from the hustle and bustle in the heart of the piazza so it was more quiet! I’m a huge foodie and it’s rare to give 10/10 but this one gets it! … oh and before you leave you have to get the lemon dessert so refreshing!

10/10Simple but elegant dining with some of the best meals we had on our trip to Italy. Nicely tucked away from the busy part of town, but not too far. Food was excellent and very reasonable considering the location and amazing views. We can’t wait to come back!

9.5/10Fine restaurant with an extraordinary location. The food is superlative. We had salmon, sauté and “from the sea to the table” as starters and then we went for pasta with fresh fish: linguine with the crab and linguine with scorfano. They were very tasty, cooked at perfection and abundant. The wine list allows to choose in a wide range of wines, mostly Italians. I usually have a falanghina or a greco di tufo. The staff is active and attentive but, for this kind of location, atmosphere and high quality food they could be more professional. However this does not detract from the extraordinary experience. Prices are in the range for this kind of fine restaurant. Do not miss their limoncello and finocchietto liquors, which are manufactured by the owner himself.

10/10A hidden gem. This is my 4th time in Capri, so wanted to try some restaurants that I have not gone before. Saw this restaurant with a very high rating on google and it is amazing. Great food with superb service. They will show you the fresh catch for the day and recommend different cooking style based on what you like. A 10/10.

8/10Food was excellent. Waiter was rude and gave us wrong information regarding a meal ordered and when confronted he said he was confused, apologized but did nothing to correct. I requested a glass of wine that came late and I said I no longer wanted as the meal was over. Served bread without bread plates or oil. Ruined our dinner.

10/10One of the better views in Capri. We found this place last minute and were surprised to see how empty it was. The location is in a hotel that is off the main path in Capri. That being said, the food was excellent, the table had an amazing view, and the service was great. Definitely recommend coming here if you want a quiet place with a great view.

10/10Al Chiaro was one of the most surprising meals of our trip, as there weren't many reviews online or many people in the restaurant. However, the food, service and view was incredible and very reasonably priced! We had the fried aubergine balls and swordfish on top of frozen margarita sorbet for starters, and the zucchini with local cheese pasta and the shrimp ravioli, which were all incredible. We also tried a recommended local wine which we found very impressive. All the servers were very knowledgeable and passionate about the menu and local foods, which made for an even more special meal. We would recommend to anyone!
