7.5/10Food was good but the room was like a dining hall. Lights were very bright and no music. Few other diners. So little atmosphere.

5/10Despite the cute ambience and good reviews, the food was very disappointing, and one of the most expensive meals on my trip. The couscous and accompanying seafood was extremely dry, and the gamberi rossi that the server recommended were very mushy. I’m not sure if they were overcooked or were not fresh. When the server asked if everything was OK, I pointed out that the shrimp were not very good. The server didn’t apologize or offer a different dish, despite the fact that I barely touched it.

9/10The location is amazing and very quiet. This is a moderately priced restaurant with attention to some details. The food quality was inconsistent, some dishes were great while others were average and one was extremely salty, and when it was remade, it still had the same problem. Overall, a very nice evening with some fine food

10/10We enjoyed a delicious dinner in their lovely courtyard. This was our second visit and it did not disappoint. The service was both gracious and efficient. The staff was also very attentive to my food allergies, which is always much appreciated. Grazie tante for a gorgeous evening and we will be back! A presto!

10/10We had dinner in the lovely courtyard of the Convento, which was fully renovated three years ago. It is a real architectural gem and offers excellent cuisine. The experience was complemented by the outstanding service. Thank you for the great evening!

10/10This is a beautiful romantic restaurant in an old convent. The food is absolutely amazing and the staff are simply wonderful. This is perfect for a romantic dinner and is away from the hustle and bustle of the main piazze and streets in Erice. I highly recommend the busciate "Al Convento"
