In general the place is nice, but we waited over an hour for a pasta dish. Not only the food is rather expensive, but the portions are relatively small. I was expecting something more from this resaturant. Luckily the stuff is nice and the summer garden very cosy, but I'm not sure if I would go again

The service was excellent, and the dishes were tasty, and looked very good. The restaurant is located in a cute little street, it was very romantic.

Having tired of pizza and pasta - the staples of most restaurants - we decided that we wanted somewhere special for my husband's birthday and one of our group isn't keen on seafood and several restaurants were closed on a Sunday. So we chose this restaurant and weren't disappointed. The check tablecloths led us to anticipate a simpler menu but we were pleasantly surprised by the more sophisticated food. An amuse bouche of celeriac, leek and smoked potato soup was delicious. My venison on soft polenta was melt in the mouth, my husband's prawn linguine very good, our friend's goulash and gnocchi delicious. The strudel my husband ordered was quite solid, but tasty and my three balls of various types of chocolate with exotic centres were toothsome and memorable, even though one jumped off the plate and had to be rescued, under the 4 second rule. The portions are not huge but the flavours are intense. Wine fairly reasonable. .

An excellent evening - inventive food. Try to book for the front rooms rather than the back.

We were referred by the hotel. Dinner was a signature pork dish recommended by the waiter, which was excellent. The service was very attentive.
