Been our favourite place especially for paellas for years. But......it's gone really bad last year or so. Staff are very friendly but always too busy. The paellas are definitely no way as good as they once were. It's a real shame.

Unfortunately we can’t recommend. The poor staff appear stressed & too busy to offer a level of service that justifies the high price. Suggests a flaw in the system/management and not their fault. Was surprised that somewhere rated so highly on Tripadvisor (hopefully they were made by real people) was the least enjoyable place we ate while on holiday. The environment was hectic and loud and it felt to us like we were inconveniencing the staff by eating there - we actually asked would it be better if we came back another night to help them out. The meals we ordered : 1) salad with chicken kebab 2) prawns pilpil 3) fish with potatoes. 1) the chicken was not kebab but chicken in breadcrumbs (otherwise the salad was good), 2) the pilpil was dry and was of starter size rather than a main meal, 3) the fish was tasty, but the potatoes it came on were cold and the pea pods were hard and not cooked. We didn’t raise the issues with the staff at the time as didn’t feel like it would help anything, there was a language barrier and the staff appeared too busy to acknowledge the feedback. We thought Tripadvisor might be the better place to help share feedback for other travellers & perhaps help management to improve the situation. As a side note, the female bathroom seems to have an infestation of ants.

We ended up walking away without paying...we were served 2 different fish dushes, both complete raw....when approaching staff, they did not even apologize...we lost trust in their cooking skills and decided to leave... very very bad !!

Hemos sido clientes asiduos de Alabardero con resultados excelentes, pero en esta ocasión estamos decepcionados . Nos sirvieron unos boquerones extremadamente fritos y secos. Pedimos también una fideuá y la devolvimos. Fría y quemada . Nos la cambiaron y mejorada.Jamás nos ha pasado nada parecido. Aparte de esto, los precios se han incrementado en un 30% y con una calidad no acorde con lo ofrecido. En fin, creo que no volveremos

Very disappointing - been there many times including celebrating birthdays and new years there but the last couple of years food quality has been downgraded - we tried it again - but failed, sadly for this great place.

Lovely tasty food. Had vegetarian and vegan options. Nice service and nice drinks, Was able to choose where to sit. Desserts looked great but was too full up from food to try.

Noche lamentable por el trato de una de las camareras. Lo que iba a ser una agradable cena de verano termino poniendo una reclamación por el trato recibido de una de las camareras. Respecto a la comida unos calamares de primero (duros) y unas lubinas (correctas) Alfredo que tanto insiste en el que lo pongamos reseñas, no estuvo a la altura

Nuestra mayor ambición es ofreceros una experiencia maravillosa junto a nosotros desde que cruzáis la puerta de nuestro restaurante. Por ello, ya que no has podido hacerlo, nos encantaría que valoraras darnos otra oportunidad, para comprobar que todo se debió a una incidencia que nada tiene que ver con la forma de ofreceros la mejor de las experiencias sentados en nuestra mesa.

Cena muy agradable en la terraza, todo el restaurante lleno hasta arriba, la atención magnifica, el encargado muy atento, la comida servida muy rápida, el arroz magnífico. Volveremos.

Booked a table here - got sat a lovely table and ordered for the 5 of us - was disappointed that the side of fries came a good 5 minutes before before anything else - seems that food comes as it’s ready and not so you can eat as a family.My husband and I had yet to be served our paella even though the rest of the table had finished their main course. We had to chase up a missing drink from our second round. For the price of our meal and to enjoy the experience it would have been nice to eat together.
