Came at the recommendation of a new friend in Alba. The experience did not disappoint. The food was delicious, wine list was expansive, and the service was on point. Certainly worth a return trip.

Wonderful food, wine, and service. Outstanding dishes to note were the calamari with squid ink, plin pizzicati a mano, and the sottofiletto alla griglia. Literally made our mouths water. The Poderi Roset 2015 Barolo was also fantastic, and so was our server. We will definitely be back!

An outstanding find in the heart of the old city. The food was creative yet very representative of the culinary heritage of the area. Classic plates were reimagined in a more contemporary style. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We visited the restaurant during Alba white truffle festival weekends. The town was very busy. The restaurant Albamare was busy too. However, their service was excellent and no rush. We enjoyed the seafood course with a bottle of wine. Foods were tasty and very fresh. Local peoples told me that it is not a traditional restaurant in Alba but still great place to eat. I would recommend highly.

We booked a dinner here because nothing else was available. Service was fair to poor, they forgot our wine and our water, generally slow but that’s to be expected for most restaurants in Italy. The food was disappointing, bland pasta and dry steak. The room was very bright for a restaurant at 8:30pm, no music, no real ambiance. They are trying to be upscale and modern, but missed the mark.

We had two different menus. Both were excellent. The food had good quality and was also arranged nicely on the plates. The staff was really helpful and friendly and the wine recommendation was also good. We would go again if in Alba again.

With the name Alba Mare, you should think about pure fish restaurant, but they are complete. Have many very good meat dishes. Enjoyed my evening.

I booked via TheFork with the menu option, but when I came to the restaurant, I was told that it wasn‘t available anymore, and that it was basically the menu they have now for 38 Euro. So I ordered a la carte - the food was really good, and the waiter was an absolute sweetheart! Very nice evening, thank you!

Fantastic place! We’re visiting Alba in an apparently very quiet weekend, so it was quite empty in the city as well as in the restaurant, but the quality of the food as well as the service was absolutely amazing. I had a veal tartar as a starter and the sirloin as a main course and the preparation and quality of both dishes were superb! Great wine (Barolo - obviously) and nice desert! Absolutely worth recommending!

Nice Restaurant, good location. I think there was a backery in before. Food is good, no standard recipies. Is not one of the cheapest Restaurants in town, but worthwhile a visit...
