Just a lovely cafe, with lovely staff and lovely food! We really enjoyed our lunch here and thought the manager was super nice! Very close to Holloway Tube too - handy!

Good food, good atmosphere and excellent service - definitely worth a try ! We were definitely made to feel at home by the staff, who also offered us some limoncello at the end of our meal!

While looking for a place to pre-game, before the Arsenal home opener, I discovered Alcedo. What a find! Reviews stated how friendly the staff was and we found this to be abundantly true. They could not do enough to ensure our comfort and were more than accommodating. The food and drinks were exceptional, but the friendly welcome and service are what sets this lovely restaurant above their competitors. Stop in and relish a lovely dining experience. You won't be disappointed!

We booked a table to eat before a concert at Emirates. It was really busy as you can imagine. We arrived early for our table and were able to sit right away. The food and service were excellent. Would def recommend.

Unfortunately we went on a very busy day. I had been told on telephone that morning that we had the table from 3.30pm - 5.30pm. On arrival the team could not have been more welcoming. They took our drinks and food order and we were set to have a happy lunch. They were clearly busy but that added to the buzz of the place. It all went wrong when at 4.53 I asked if we could order our desserts and coffee (we had been sitting having had our main course plates cleared for some 30 minutes) the waiter said that it was too late to order a dessert as he needed the table at 3pm but we could have coffees. He then disappeared without taking an order and we were basically ignored. This really soured our day. Eventually at about 3.10pm we asked another waiter for our bill which was brought and we departed feeling very let down. What a shame.

Great restaurant. Each dish was beautifully prepared and had nice little touches like the warmed Gorgonzola on top of my risotto. Very well run. They did a fantastic job serving a full restaurant. Would definitely recommend.

I have been to Alcedo several times. The brunch is really good and all day! Cocktails are also on point. The service is awesome as well, I always feel welcomed there. The don't charge service charge so make sure you add a well deserved tip!

Friendly staff, decent portion sizes, spotless lavatory, complementary liqueur with the bill. OK music, cosy place. Food took a while to come. My starter (smoked salmon and prawns and salad) was great. Main course of swordfish was overcooked, which I told the waiter and he took it seriously. Good selection of drinks. Not cheap but not expensive. They don't add a tip, so you can choose to. I'd go again, to try more dishes.

This is not fine dining, but it is hearty honest fare at really good prices. Pork belly was very nice, crackling was mostly for show, but the gravy and balsamic garnish added depth and class. Excellent value.

Our party of 6 sat outside and loved the experience before football.staff could not have been more attentive to us.decent wine options and the pork belly with fabulous crackling was just right.we have booked for every Arsenal match!

Food excellent/Service great considering how busy they were as it was a football day. Very nosey from the amount of people but did nor ruin our Lunch before going to the football. Staff could not have been any more friendly. Great stuff.
