10/10A very good meal, served bi attentive waiters in a historical ambience. A pity that the windows of the dining room are small and don’t allow to overview the landscape, but the fact of sitting inside a historical building must limit something. Overall a very good experience.

9.5/10I chose this restaurant already aware that it was in the upper tier of restaurants and cuisine, with a price tag to match; nonetheless, it met or exceeded our expectations in almost every aspect. The location is spectacular, within a castle in immaculate grounds, thus quite unique. The room itself is spacious and uncrowded, and when we attended, was not busy. I was not particularly impressed by the artwork on the walls. Service was attentive, polite, and knowledgeable, My wife and I opted for two different 5-course set menu options, and as she has lactose and gluten intolerance we had the unusual and very positive experience of finding that the menu and food courses went off smoothly and without a hitch, including a baked dessert. Every single course from the amouse bouche was excellent, and ran the gamut from vegetarian to meat and fish. Attention to detail, presentation (my wife enjoyed the plateware as much as the food, I suspect) and wow factor were all on point. We agreed to leave the wine choices in the waiter's hands, and enjoyed every one of the 3 goblets we had between us (plus the aperitif). This being a castle, it is understandable that the amenities were a bit of a way away from the restaurant proper, but this did not impact upon the rewarding experience. Total for 2 including tips was €250.
