8.5/10The best thing is the atmosphere while dining with Fado music and songs. The grilled cod was very good. I only found two problems, maybe the service was a bit clueless and the Fado singer came to my table to sell me a CD (a bit anachronistic on the other hand), I think that should not be done because it gives the feeling that you have to buy from him or else you will look bad. As for the discount, it was applied without any problem. A good restaurant to enjoy the atmosphere of Alfama.

6/10We booked the Alfama Grill because they advertised live Fado. The music was excellent - two Fado musicians and three singers - and we loved it. The service was surly and slow, the food average. We’re glad we went but only for the wonderful music.

4.5/10Waiters didn’t recognize the reservation and “the fork” discount agreement. No smile on any waiter or welcoming attitude. Reluctantly accepting card payment. The food was fine and pice was mid to low range.

9.5/10We had the perfect waiter - efficient but with a great sense of humor. And he was very helpful with our selections from the menu. The food was fantastic. We ate outside in perfect weather. And it's located conveniently close to the Rossio train station making it easy to get back to our AirBnB via the metro afterwards.

4/10What a disappointment. We went on a recommendation. Got the sardines and garlic shrimp as apps, and grilled sea bass and octopus. Food was NOT FRESH, veggies tasted old and overall it was NOT GOOD AT ALL. Don’t go don’t waste your money. Meanwhile, down the road there was a nice place where we saw the cooks grilling the fish and serving it table side. Wish we would’ve gone there. The ambiance wAs dark and it has no ventilation. The only redeeming feature was the live music. Fado was performed while we ate. Although our dinner was interrupted by the singers who came to our table to try to sell us a cd. Poor taste to do this as we were eating.

8/10+ Great atmosphere and quick service. Quality-quantity was good and the Fado live show was the cherry on top. - The tables are too close to each other, you are basically eating with other people and there’s not really space for the servers to pass without bumping into you or for them to put the food and drinks on the table. Overall it was ok but it could improve.

8/10Very nice restaurant in the center of Alfama, we loved the Fado, very professional guitar players and singers had great voices. Food was good and very well served. Waiters were attentive. We will return!

8/10The place is quite pleasant when seating outside on a warm night. The service was great, staff is nice, always alert if you need anything. The food was delicious although the start (sliced chorizo) wasn't that great). The only bad thing is the price of the wine, it is prohibitive especially when you know the price you can pay fot it at the supermarket.
