We've heard good things before coming here, so we decided to try it out. At first you're greeted by the -i think- manager, friendly. You get seated, get some bread ( i've never understood why restaurants try to force bread on you, that you have to pay for as well, but okay, for me it's usually a sign that the main courses are small ), with dips ( the tuna one was quite good ), and we had the t-bone steak and the surf and turf. I personally have had better t-bone steak at various other places, as the fat was very hard and non-edible, it was however perfectly grilled ( i'm a t-bone kind of guy ), the surf and turf looked quite good. Sidedish in my case were ( literally ) a couple of fries with spinach, but it was not nearly enough. I'm quite a large eater, but i've paid less at other places and left with a full stomach, this wasn't worth the 75 euros, as we were still snackish afterwards. Some Portuguese restaurants have a way of 'forcing' stuff on you, so beware, if you feel like your customers have to have bread beforehand to 'fill up', make your portions larger.

Awesome staff, the owner is very helpful and friendly. The food was amazing and the prices are very reasonable for what you get. Also they have a nice wine cellar. The only thing not so good, in my opinion, is the deserts which are very “normal”.

The food was amazing. Amazing wild mushrooms. Amazing flambee prawns and delicious sirloin steak on the hot stone . Fish fillet was delicious too. Panacotta with blue berries delicious and an outstanding service
