This is a really nice restaurant. The food was very good, the service superb with nothing being too much trouble. Good value for money in lovely surroundings.

Staff were very friendly and polite but service overall was very slow (1hr wait for 3 pizzas and a burger) with only 8 other diners in the whole place). Menu very limited although food was very nice. Ice cream was very cheap and tasteless. Prices reasonable. Nice decor. Wish we'd gone elsewhere though as it was as a birthday meal and they were unable to do anything special, zero ambiance being empty.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and had dinner included. Food was delicious and service was great. The second night was my birthday and they set us up a really nice table. I couldn’t eat my food so they very kindly wrapped it up to go.

Lovely clean, modern restaurant. Limited vegetarian options throughout. Unfortunately the service really let it down, Unbelievably slow on all courses. We were refused desert because the kitchen had closed, but we had been waiting for over 40 mins for our mains to be cleared. Emily was amazing and friendly and rectified the restaurant/waiters mistakes.

We was surprised at how nice the food was. The halloumi and falafel bowl was particularly nice. We had really good service up until Desserts. The table of 6 next to us ordered their desserts after us and received them within 5 minutes. We waited 40 minutes for 2 desserts.

We were already guests at the hotel, although had not booked a table at the restaurant until later. The staff were nice professional in their conduct and polite too. Quality of service and food was excellent. Would definitely visit again.

Nice restaurant Wasn’t offered the Prosecco that should of been on our deal I don’t like Prosecco anyway but would of had a free soft drink if offered

The waiting staff was very attentive, the menu is very minimal and only veg pizza is a vegd9or vegan option no fish dishes available,you will lose customers if you can only eat the same meal every day for the time you spend here customer team helpful and beautiful hotel but need to up their game in the restaurant especially the menu the soup was delightful and the Katsu chicken and curry sauce was too but please add much more curry sauce, saw alot of reviews complain about the same thing

Not very good experience. Waited ages for the mains and desserts . Hardly any selection of wines, all out of stock. The steak looked like something that goes in a baguette rather than a steak meal . My Eaton mess that accompanied the lemon pie consisted of 2 raspberries and no meringue or cream! All out of stock . Felt sorry for the waitresses that were dealing with all the complaints. I could understand waiting for a a meal if the restaurant was busy but it wasn’t. The whole meal took 2 and half hours! The manager was very apologetic and understanding , I think everyone who was in the restaurant put a complaint in, as they had the same problems. On the positive side , the breakfast in the morning was lovely and great selection, and great service.

The server was a delightful friendly young man and very attentive, the starter was delicious, very nice soup and the main also lovely, asked for more curry sauce which took a little time to receive because food was getting cold but it came and warmed up the meal a little. The staff are very helpful and very attentive.

Awful. It took over 1.5 hours for our main to come out. Everyone in the restaurant were also complaining about wait times. It was rubbish quality food, freezer style. We gave up after our main as we had waited such a long time and couldn’t wait another hour for dessert. So lost out on food I had already paid for. Looks like the whole restaurant was in the same boat

Upon visiting previously and thoroughly enjoying it we were excited to come back and try something new from the menu. We were told that the main menu wasn’t available and that we had to pick from a set Christmas menu instead. Both ordered crayfish cocktail and a ribeye steak. Not a crayfish in sight - confirmed by chef that it was actually prawn. Steak was probably the worst we’ve ever had - ordered medium rare but it was more medium well, with so much fat there was barely any meat left. Instead of a flat grilled mushroom as it said in the menu we received oven baked button mushrooms with so much salt on they were inedible. Had to wait 5 minutes after the mains had arrived before we received our steak knives (trust me, we needed them..). Drinks service was also very slow. I don’t think we’ll be back unfortunately.

Food was good. Steak was nice. I had the katsu curry just wish it came with more sauce but I enjoyed it still. Soup was lovely also. It had a nice ambience. Service was friendly!
