10/10Aluco restaurant is a must if you’re visiting Port Douglas. The surroundings of Sea Temple Resort are stunning and the ambience is gorgeous. The staff are welcoming and extremely knowledgeable about the dishes and wine list. The food is second to none! We will certainly be back!!! Five stars!

7/10Entrees were both over cooked, prawn and scallop dish, but mains were lovely. Pork belly and barramundi great. All chefs should know seafood needs little time to cook. Which l commented to waitress. And it was a very pricey dinner, which l don't mind paying as long as the food is excellent :)

9/10Food mains plentiful. Shiraz was served chilled and needed to be served in a decanter. Staff started laying tables for breakfast; moving tables whilst guests were still finishing.

6/10I have been looking forward to this restaurant for weeks and was so disappointed. Only 4 mains to choose from. I had the steak, my local bowls club does a much better job for a quarter of the price. We won’t be going back anytime soon.

5/10There were 5 staff behind the bar, chatting, we had to get up twice see if they were going to take our order and then to order more drinks. As a plant person, I wasn't overly impressed at the bowl of dying plants in the foyer. There was also no toilet paper in the loo I went to, mildly inconvenient to say the least! Sorry for the bad review but it was really disappointing for us as we were looking forward to a lovely afternoon!

8/10Limited menu but food was good. Lacking a bit of atmosphere though.

5.5/10Service was just ok. On arrival we were seated in an outside table where it was hot. We were asked if we would like water and warm tap water was bought to the table. After being given the menue it took ages for the staff to return and to take our orders and even longer to return with our drinks. I also found the main course far to small for the expense and had to find another restaurant to get something else to eat.

3/10The menu is very confusingly, e.g. small plates, large plates. Doesn’t say whether you get salad or veggies with your meal, you have to buy salad or veggies seperate to your meal which makes it a very expensive meal which you don’t mind if it was a nice meal but the meals were very average. We all walked away not at all impressed. Wouldn’t go back.

6.5/10The restaurant is situated just off the hotel lobby and beside a beautiful pool. There was a wedding set up in the lobby and by the pool, so it really would have been better for the restaurant to close for the evening. Very noisy & the focus of the staff was - understandably- on the wedding event. Staff who did serve us were friendly & professional, but rushed!

6.5/10I was hoping for a menu exchange from when we were here 12 months ago, food was still very good. Service for drinks was average considering the small number of tables occupied. However the setting somewhat makes up for it.
