About the restaurant Amador - Hotel Villa Guadalupe

Amazing restaurant. I have been to many great restaurants around the world and Amador is genuinely one of the best. Truly stunning views, great wine and elegant menu choices. Price is affordable too. My wife and I spent 5 hours on Saturday evening here and the time went by so quickly. A must when visiting Malaga.

Place feels small, but with welcoming and well spoken English staffs makes the meal comfortable for foreigners visiting. Food was delicious, simple menu with plenty of choice, but the wine list is limited. Nice view of city lights at night. Definitely worth the
difficult traveling.

First time diners. Setting was lovely. Food was delicious (steak, suckling pig, foie Gras and cheese plate) and very well priced for the quality of the meal. Wine list is interesting and also well priced. Staff was very busy at Christmas dinner but very observant and attentive to customers’ needs as many others before m,I would recommend this restaurant. Bonus if you have children, there is an enclosed terrace to provide additional distraction.

Beautiful setting. The best view over Malaga. The staff were very polite and attentive. I had the Thai pumpkin and ginger soup. It was sublime with just the right amount of the spice. The slow cooked Lamb melted in the mouth served on a bed of of vegetables and roast potatoes. The dessert was chocolate fondant pudding with white chocolate sauce and violet ice cream. It was absolutely delicious. Great food very reasonably priced. Well worth a visit. There is a wonderful terrace where you can look down and see the twinkling lights of Malaga.
I will definelty come back

The views and service were exceptional and the food was pretty good. We tried empanadas & gyozas for starters and both were tasty. For mains we had squid ink paella (good but not the best I've had), cod pil oil (a large well cooked portion of fish let down slightly by the potatoes which had become a little soggy) and lamb which was delicious. It was a relaxed and enjoyable evening and represented good value for money.
