9/10Great and surprising food in a beautiful ambiance served by a team that really understands hospitality. We will definitely come back and very happy to recommend this restaurant. If we might improve something it would be the coffee. We prefer more the espresso type.

10/10We had a pleasure of eating at this restaurant nearly 20 years ago and having searched to find it again we were in total awe with the incredibly crafted dishes, service and experience. This restaurant ranks as one of my favourite all time for Costa Del Sol. Congratulations to the chef and Owner. we will see you again soon!

10/10fabulous food excellent service great wine and ambience. about €55 a head for 2 courses and quite a bit of wine (couple of desserts) but for €10 euros more than others in the village this place is more than a step above. would be great for couples but we were a large party, so good we went back.

10/10what a wonderful restaurant. exceptional service, fantastic menu and the food was incredible. so good we went twice in the week we were in town. we were a big party and I know that can be hard to do well bur every one of us throughly enjoyed it. I would absolutely recommend this place.

Dear Mr/Mrs Maarten. Thank you for dining at Amanhavis. Your comment about your dog is VERY FALSE, your dog kept on barking and you did NOT stop him. We asked you three times, as other guests were complaining about your dog. If your dog can not be amongst other guests, pls leave him back at home. Your comment is truly false and unfair. 10/10Hard to find, but great once found. very nice atmosphere, excellent food and superb service. the personalised menu's are a nice gimmick and make you feel very welcome. The menu has small changes from day to day, indicating the freshness of the food whole keeping a consistency in quality. the garden is very nice, secluded and comfortable. strongly recommended!

10/10The no.1 restaurant in Benahavis. We just love the restaurant and always take our family and friends when they visit us. Our party of 6 friends all left feeling it was just a fantastic experience. Wonderful setting in a lovely Moorish courtyard. Service is always personal, very friendly and helpful. And the menu is very varied and quality of the food is excellent. We will certainly be back again soon.

10/10This is always our restaurant of choice in Benahavis village. And always a warm and friendly welcome from our host. Food menu is very good and quality is of a very high standard. Great service from the staff - very helpful, attentive and friendly. Ambience in the courtyard dining outside is excellent. Highly recommend dining here!

10/10Everything about this place is perfect: the food and wine selection, the ambience, the attentive service. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived and had a memorable anniversary dinner. We will come back as often as possible.

7/10Lovely setting. Reasonably good food. The owner made an effort to celebrate the birthday of my girlfriend. There was a serious downside though. When my girlfriend wanted to order just a starter and a dessert, the owner made a whole fuss about how that wouldn’t be enough. He said that every guest here orders a starter, main and dessert. He really made us feel uncomfortable making a whole fuss about it. The truth is my girlfriend has a medical condition so she really can’t eat much. If you want your customers to take a whole menu, then say so on your menu.

9.5/10We ordered a variety of different dishes. Each one was perfectly prepared and presented. Our only disappointment was that the wine we selected was not available. The overall experience was well above average and most enjoyable. Congratulations to the chef and to the host.

10/10Dining in a hotel (we are not staying in) is not something we do often. However we are really glad we made an exception for this hidden gem. A great, cosy outdoor setting, excellent service and above all great food, most definitely value for money!
