10/10This place was so awesome! Right on the Grand Canal! And the food was incredible. That is not something that you can say for a lot of places right on the water because they usually become tourist traps because all they need is the view and the food usually becomes secondary. Not here, our service was awesome and our food was delicious! Thanks for an awesome experience Ancora!

10/10Fantastic view of the canal. Perfect ambience on a Sunday evening. Waiter was excellent. Mushroom tagliatelle: sublime. A nice change from some of the shocking restaurants near the canal by rialto bridge. Good value too.

9/10A delightful place to eat. You are outdoors 50 steps away from the grand canal. The food is wonderful and the service is outstanding. Please do yourself a favor and dine here. The wine is superb and there are many to choose from. Grazie Ancora.

10/10An outstanding unpretentious restaurant with amazing service, character, and food quality. We enjoyed a three-hour meal drinking and dining along the waterfront, and had a truly memorable time. Our server (Davido?) treated us like we were his personal guests. Outstanding.

10/10This is a lovely family run business in a lovely location. I accidentally ordered the Venetian mixed appetizer with anchovies, sardines, cuttlefish, and 2 differently prepared cod fish. I decided to to try it, and loved all of it! The location is ideal and the pricing was more than fair. Both the daughter and father running the restaurant were kind and accommodating making us feel very welcome. I would highly recommend that you come and enjoy an experience like mine! I also got a discount by booking through The Fork app and I didn’t even realize it!

10/10We went to Ancora for a birthday dinner, and had a lovely time! The service was quick and friendly, and the drinks were brilliant. The area was lively so after dinner we continued to have a lovely evening!

10/10Excellent food and service. We had a great time, and will return. Shout out to the very attentive waiter and the amazing piano player/singer. He brought the night from a good evening to one for the record books.
