A Veritable Milanese Culinary Experience at Anita Riso&Co Anita Riso&Co is a delightful little dining spot nestled in the heart of Milan, offering an authentically delightful and memorable culinary affair. The ambiance is warm and pleasing, with tasteful modern decor and seating arrangements considerately accommodating wheelchair access - a detail often overlooked but thoughtfully considered here. The service is polite and unhurried, making Anita Riso&Co a welcoming choice for foreigners who may not be au fait with the local cuisine. The staff are ever-ready to elaborate on the dishes and provide recommendations tailored to individual preferences. As for the cuisine, we sampled the Cotollete à la Milanese, a Milanese specialty, with the lemon sauce adding a zesty, fresh lift to the dish. The pièce de résistance, however, was undoubtedly the Ossobuco with Saffron Risotto. This combination of two Milanese delicacies was a treat for the taste buds, with the richness of the Ossobuco perfectly offset by the distinct and delicate flavour of the saffron in the risotto. Additionally, our visit was enhanced by a discount courtesy of The Fork, which added substantial value for money. Considering the quality of the food and service, the price was more than justifiable. In summary, Anita Riso&Co delivers a splendid dining experience in a comfortable and accessible setting. If you find yourself in Milan and are keen to sample bona fide Milanese cuisine, this is the place to visit. Highly recommended, indeed.

I was looking for a place near Central station, and this restaurant popped out. Now, I'm a fan of contemporary cuisine and I really enjoyed the presentation of the dishes we ordered: both taste and sight can contribute for a good food experience. Food quality, the ingredients and chef's creativity were well blended, and the taste was incredibly satisfying, leaving at the end a "filled belly", even if the portions weren't as modest. My favourite risotto is "Alessandra", a combination of pears, red wine reduction, mushrooms and pecorino's cream: sweet mixed with a salty aftertaste. I suggest you to look for this place, but reservation with theFork's discount should be sought!
