This menu includes: Starters (with coupled wines) + Main Courses (with coupled wines) + Second Course (with coupled wines) + Dessert and then Champagne for the Midnight toast.

  • Starters (with coupled wines)
    • Raw seafood trio Oyster, langoustine, and greater amberjack tartare.
    • Scallop tempura Scallop, black sesame, yogurt and lime, orange reduction, on mashed purple potatoes and samphire sprouts.
  • Main Courses (with coupled wines)
    • Broccoli raab risotto Rice from the Po River delta, broccoli raab, baby squid, anchovy butter, and mandarin jelly.
    • Upside-down salted cod cappelletti Filled with salted cod mousse, seafood bisque, artichoke salad, and caper powder.
  • Second Course (with coupled wines)
    • Last catch of the year Catch of the day, cauliflower purée, braised and sautéed chickory, and almonds.
  • Dessert and then Champagne for the Midnight toast.
    • Dark chocolate ball, cream puff with mascarpone and warm zabaglione, as well as a sweet "present" for all our guests.

Included: water and wine, chosen to go with each dish, and Champagne for the toast.

This menu includes: Starters (2x included in the Christmas Lunch menu coupled with wines) + Main Courses (2x included coupled with wines) + Second Course (coupled with wine) + Desserts (coupled with sweet wine)

  • Starters (2x included in the Christmas Lunch menu coupled with wines)
    • Selection of salamis from Emilia Mortadella, Bologna’s own pink salame and “the delicate” salame from Villani – seasoned bacon and summer coppa from Zivieri’s Mora Romagnola pigs – Parmigiano Reggiano aged 30 months, from the red cow breed.
    • Cauliflower flan Cheese fondue with pit cheese and nutmeg, walnut crumble and capers.
  • Main Courses (2x included coupled with wines)
    • Tortellini in bouillon Traditional Bolognese recipe for filled pasta, with the traditional filling, in capon broth.
    • Green lasagne alla Bolognese Mousse made with Parmigiano Reggiano aged 24 months, from the red cow breed.
  • Second Course (coupled with wine)
    • Beef cheek cooked with sangiovese With potato purée.
  • Desserts (coupled with sweet wine)
    • Chocolate cake with warm dark-chocolate center, with orange flavored custard.

    • Il nostro panino - the Christmas edition Black bread with cuttlefish ink, crescenza cheese, marinated sturgeon, caramelized shallot, sautéed baby chard and apple vinegar with juniper berry jelly.
    • Mantis shrimp in rhubarb marinade Sour yogurt sauce
  • Main Courses (2x included coupled with wines)
    • Broccoli raab risotto Rice from the Po River delta, broccoli raab, mandarin flavored butter, robiola cheese mousse, licorice, and mandarin jelly.
    • Spaghetto Cavalieri with venus clams Benedetto Cavalieri's spaghetti with a cream of celeriac and soy, venus clams, fennel, and katsuobushi.
  • Second Course (coupled with wine)
    • Adriatic salted cod fish Salted cod fish in milk, minty artichokes slow-cooked in oil, Jerusalem artichoke puree and orange powder.
  • Desserts (coupled with sweet wine)
    • The Mura's Christmas Eve dessert

We had a wonderful dinner. The atmosphere was very inviting and comfortable, the food was creative and delicious, and the staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations about food and wine. The regional charcuterie board offered some of the best cured meats we’ve ever had and my son who is very picky about lasagna was raving about the restaurant’s version of the dish. Creme brûlée was outstanding, just a perfect harmony of subtle flavors. Overall a terrific meal, and we would definitely come back.

When we arrived, we were immediately greeted with a smile and warmth. We were led to our table and asked if we wanted still or sparkling. The menu is unique and traditional at the same time. We each had the lasagne verde and would highly recommend. I also had the creme brûlée off the creative menu and the flavour was amazing, spicy but light! The best service we’ve had so far on our trip! Thank you :)

Delicious and creative classic Bolognese food. Charming atmosphere, knowledgeable (and English-speaking) wait-staff, and did I say delicious and creative food? We chose from both traditional and creative sides of the menu and were thrilled with our choices. After having had a VERY disappointing meal elsewhere the night before, this was a meal to remember!

Cold food on cold plates. Soup was very thick and barely warm. Squid ink pasta was underseasoned. Pork was very fatty with gloopy sweet sauce and inedible potatoes. Very very disappointing.
