We had a first class meal for two. Particularly good were the duck pate and apple in a pastry case and the suckling pig. We were made welcome and served several small extras. Altogether very good.

The staff were lovely and very helpful as they spoke to us in a mix of English, French and Spanish. The food was excellent and beautifully presented.
The outside of the building does not reflect the interior at all and could put people off. We were quite concerned when we saw the takeaway burger signs and thought we must have booked the wrong place! Luckily I checked on line again.

We booked this restaurant because of the good reviews on tripadvisor. We booked for 8.30pm, but don't bother booking until 10.00pm otherwise you will be sitting there on your own. Olives and bread were nice but the amuse bouche - bloody Mary was 'different' and will depend on your taste. Service was too rushed for such a restaurant but they were crrect. Starters ravioli and king prawns were nice but not shy of salt. The mains suckling pig were two squares of meat with no salad/veg, grilled serloin steak - wanted medium got nearly rare was salty and served with six slices of potato. My daughter only ate half. The slow cooked lamb also served with six slices of potato and a small salad was so salty that I left it. We didn't complain but when asked told them about the salt. No adjustments were made to the bill. The problems with the salt were made obvious when we saw the chef throwing handfuls of rocksalt on the meat on the grill!! The lighting in the restaurant is very bright and therefore lacks ambiance .

We received a very warm welcome from a waitress who went through the menu with us in English. There were several excellent options which made it difficult to choose, but the beef looked exceptional so we chose the degustation menu with the beef steak for two people. Every course was full of flavour and some of the combinations were inspired. The steak tasted as good as we had imagined. Great meal!
