Excellent
Always a treat! Another great lunch and the best Cozido in Porto. Great service!
An absolute 10 and one of my all-time favorite restaurants in Porto. The Cozido Portuguesa is the best in town, the service is caring and the value is great excellent. This is where the locals go, but everyone should enjoy this fabulous establishment. This family business embraces Porto’s traditions with loving care and the highest quality.
If I had to choose one restaurant to eat forever this is it! Food is amazing, staff is an absolutely delight and helpful. A truly pearl on the heart of Porto city centre.
Really traditional Portuguese dishes and huge amount.
Great food, cheap prices and really friendly staff. Perhaps not the most atmospheric but a really lovely local place. Would definitely recommend!
Best local rest in town by far! Great food options and all taking care of pandemic situation. I'm already a usual visitor and will always be as they're super friendly and great options on the menu,
Bem justo
Friendly and helpfull staff, beautiful tradicional decoration and delicious real portuguese food.
Great restaurant where we enjoyed an excellent dinner - the signature dish ham hock really is as good as everyone says. Lovely friendly service - hope to go back there during our short stay.
Lovely restaurant, friendly, efficient waiting staff. Initially, however, this efficiency can come across as being rushed. Nonetheless, the food is delicious (very large portions - beware!) We would return and recommend.
Very good
The house specialty for two was amazing. Service attentive, yet not intrusive. From a welcoming greeting to final bill, everything first rate. The shock came when the bill arrived, remarkably inexpensive. Wow, what a bargain.
Good service, nice atmosphere, delicious fish. We had the tuna and the salmon, it came really fast and tasted great. With a small bottle of the white house wine and a shared slice of biscuit cake the bill came down to just shy of €24 which is really great value for the quality food and experience we had.
A little off the beaten track near the Trinidade area. On the night that we visited, the restaurant was packed and full of atmosphere. The clientel were a mixture of Portuguese and tourists such as ourselves. The staff were friendly and the service good. The food however was not. The hake fillets were nicely cooked and full of flavour but the accompanying 'tomato rice' was just white rice in a watery tomato liquid. The pork cutlets were poor quality and accompanied by a bowl of plain white rice and spinach mash which was bland. We cut our losses and left after the main course. This was the last restaurant meal of our stay in Portugal. We experienced better food in all the other restaurants and cafes that we had previously eaten at. A bit of a disappointment.
We made a reservation the night before online through TheFork.com and was served immediately upon arrival. Great portions for the price. Serving size is big (this coming from someone from the US, where food portions are always BIG). Would recommend one appetizer and one entree to be enough for 2 people. I ordered the Cod with potatoes. Savory, warm, and fresh. Fish was a bit too salty for my liking, and surprisingly our dinner was provided with a free side of rice. Waiters are warm and friendly. Be careful when specifying "can I have water?" They will bring you a bottle of mineral water for charge (not expensive, but something to note). Specify *tap water in a glass when asking for water. Another thing we learned, doggie bags are not typical in Portuguese culture. Learned that when sister couldn't finish her veal dish (which was also amazing) and asked to take it to-go.
Per nulla turistico
Had a reservation for 21.00,arrived at 20.50 .There was a queue. I approached a staff member to inform him we had arrived. I was informed after 10 mins that we would have to wait 30 mins for a table. We left . This was not good
Unpretentious, friendly service and fantastic flavors at surprisingly economical fares. Would definitely recommend
Execellent as always
We've enjoyed a lot the local's favourite dish "pernil". Great atmosphere, felt like being at home.
