Nice location and attractive venue. However, the ratings are way too generous. Our octopus was tough, pasta undercooked (not aldente but actually undercooked), and the server seemed slow and inefficient. The restaurant did make an effort to correct the food but would have been easier if it was done right the first time. We’ve spent 6 weeks throughout Italy - first time we’ve ever had such issues.

This is one of the better restaurants in Monopoli in terms of food and ambience, but the whole experience was overshadowed by blatant overcharging which was probably motivated by a desire to recoup the 20% discount on food offered through the Fork. The discount was applied to all items, but we were charged nearly €24 euros for a fish of the day. We had specifically asked for a small one, which it was, and yet it was twice the price of the generously portioned mixed grilled fish. We later calculated that the excess charge on this dish effectively wiped out the Fork discount. This was a disappointing end to an otherwise good meal. Since other reviewers have had a similar experience, you should go elsewhere if you want the Fork discount.

Nice meal but a bit of an argument over the Fork discount. Asked if it had been applied on the bill, they checked and said it had not. They brought it back and it was exactly the same total. Apparently they had undercharged on other items.

Great spot in Monopoli for solid food and people watching. Service was outstanding and we loved the limoncello to cap off our delicious dinner!

One of the best restaurants in Monopoli and definitely the best food we had there. The service could be slightly improved though. We had to wait for a while to be seated and then we didn’t get any bread so we had to ask for it. We were seated outdoors (nothing special) but the indoors dining area and the restaurant building itself is really beautiful. And the food.. it was divine! A food paradise literally. The portions were also generous. Everything was fresh and local, the cheese&salami platter was amazing but the dish of the night was grilled octopus. My husband said it was the best octopus he had ever tried. The wine and olive oil we were given were also great. I wish we could visit this place one more time. Definitely recommend!!

Really good pasta (lasagnetta / crab linguine p2P) at a fair price. The highlight was the dessert (tiramisu / parfait, limoncello sorbet -> have a glass of Prosecco) and the (sparkling) wines. The service was also very nice, attentive and flexible. A visit should not be missing from any stay in Monopoli.
