The food here is just fantastic with a selection of wines to match. The portions are spot on so you can enjoy a primo and secondo without feeling you are over eating. Flavours are amazing. This is not just another Italian restaurant churning out for the masses, the chef goes about his business in a serious way.

Everything was exceptional. The food was incredible, the ambiance was fantastic and the staff was truly amazing! This restaurant should be on your itinerary when visiting the beautiful Taormina.

My husband and I were excited to come to Aranciara because of all the gluten free options available to me. I'll start out by saying that the service was great! Our server was polite, helpful, and really friendly. We ordered the octopus and tuna tartare for appetizers and I will say our apps were delicious. I ordered the filet (medium) for dinner and my husband ordered the sea bass and they were both terrible. My steak with well done, I mean well done. My husbands sea bass was SO fishy- it was terrible. He was starving and yet couldn't eat it. Perhaps this is a place that you only get pasta, but we will not be returning while in Taormina. Disappointing.

Awesome food, professional staff, lovely atmosphere. We tried fish and meat, and both were very tasty. Service was on another level comparing to other places in Taormina. Absolutely worth visiting.

The food was exquisite! Although the service was okay, there is room for further improvement. The setting is lovely with the orange trees in the garden, lovely atmosphere, but it can be properly optimized with some proper speakers and italian music on the background not the sound of music from the phone of one of the waiters.

Brand new to the fork app and what a great start !! Aranciara was perfect ! Service was great . We completely went with our waiter’s recommendations . Fish of the day was melt in the mouth ! Accompanied by a beautiful Sicilian wine . Every dish that went to different tables looked amazing .The atmosphere grew as the night time came and the lighting came into play . We went home extremely happy !!! A must for seafood lovers .

A little paradise of quiet from the bustle of central Taormina. The service was excellent - they greeted us by name. The food was so delicious and the wine excellent and very reasonably priced. Would recommend!

My partner was suggested an off menu pasta dish described as sweet, which according to our waiter was such fresh squid as it had just arrived in the kitchen. The pasta was super salty and it felt like the amount of squid ink was rather to cover the actual taste of the fish. We weren't asked once how was our meal, while the waiter spent his time waiting on the table behind us, checking in on them. Even during our order we were dismissed a few times when talking to him. It just seemed slightly off that he avoided even making eye contact with us for the whole time we were there. My pasta was nice enough, but too high in price for three small chunks of lobster I would not have called them lobsters spaghetti. In all the restaurants in Taormina we've experienced not only friendly but also kind service and you can certainly find much better food both in terms of portions and quality. Full disclosure I'm Italian and have holidayed in this Country since I was a child, this was a big disappointment.

Such a beautiful restaurant! The courtyard and trees and lights are stunning. The service was brilliant, attentive and friendly. We had delicious pasta and fish courses, which was the best food we had in Taoromina. I would highly recommend anyone to go.

This restaurant was a lucky find. It’s set in a little courtyard with a beautiful tree in the centre and gorgeous lighting. The service and food were both excellent. We will definitely be going back.

If you get the right waiter this is a great restaurant. Unfortunately we didn't. Our ultra hyperactive waiter pressured us to have the fish of the day which we decided not to have. He seemed disgruntled at this and then was quite rude. He pressured us to choose an alternative. We said we would need a couple of minutes to decide. He left and returned after a few seconds and then pressured us again, standing over us and trying to intimidate us. Then everything we asked for was unavailable. We should have walked out then, with hindsight it was a mistake not to. Four of the first things we tried to order, under pressure, we couldn't have. This was fairly annoying but we finally managed to select something further down our preference list. Imagine our surprise when we saw one of the unavailable dishes turn up later at the table next to us. We complained to another waiter and the rude waiter then lied about what we had tried to order. The Italian speaking couple on the table next to us, who had the unavailable dish, got involved on our behalf. The rude waiter was rude to them. Their conversation (in Italian) got heated. I don't know what was said but they got up and left, angry. I think the rude waiter wanted us to have the fish as it was sold by weight and would probably have been very expensive. When we declined this he decided to be awkward with us. Overall it was a very unpleasant experience. Without doubt the worst service experience I have ever had, in fact. Everyone else working in this restaurant seemed lovely and professional and after our complaint we were looked after by someone who knew how to do this job properly. But if you get the one very unpleasant man working in there, it's going to ruin your evening. You have been warned!

By far the best restaurant we have been to in Sicily. Very nice atmosphere, good and fast service, which is appreciated when you come with your kids. The food was delicious, the wine was very good and my son got home made pasta the way he likes it even though it was not on the menu.

The menu advertised on the fork does not correspond to the menu proposed at the table. It is understandable that menus change but in this case they need to be updated on the app. The reason why we chose this restaurant was the offer of original cuisine we could read on the fork and we were given a menu with typical dishes which we were not seeking on that night. Besides the food serverd was too salty and frankly the shrimp pasta with tiny blant tasting shrimps was disappointing. We were hungry and ate our plates but it is not the special food for a special night. The team and service were quite good no complaints at all on that and we had a the fork discount due to yums that was taken into account so overall a nice place, but a huge effort to be made on the transparency of menus advertised and the quality of the food.

Aranciara is a lovely little restaurant with a charming indoor area which was perfect for a cold evening last night. We booked easily with Fork and then rebooked easily for an earlier table. We were welcomed enthusiastically by the waitstaff and later the chef. The menu was more extensive than many other local restaurants with some excellent regional choices. Mario, our waiter helped us find a very pleasant dry Etna wine to enjoy with our starters. We chose the restaurant based on Trip Advisor and found the reviews to be very positive and equally accurate. With more time, we would love to visit again.

The food was very good. The garden atmosphere is very good. It was nice of them to turn down the music. The biggest disappointment was not being told how expensive my meal was going to be. It was my mistake for not clarifying the exact cost before ordering. I would never have guessed that the fish of the day was going to be €90 for one person. All other items were a la carte so my total bill was a whopping €125 for one person with no alcohol. I definitely left the restaurant with a feeling of being ripped off.
