We met up with an english friend who lives in the region and used to frequent this restaurant prior to its receiving a michelin star. We were offered 5 amuse-bouches non of which were very tasty or worth the effort, just pretentious. Something perched on a prawn cracker seems to be a cop out. The two starters which the 3 of us shared were interestingly experimental and the monkfish my wife and I had for mains was deliciously simple. The risotto our friend had was drowned in meat fat despite being seafood based and lacked variety of flavour and texture.
In a nutshell the kitchen should concentrate on what they clearly do best fresh produce prepared and presented in a simple fashion.

Having visited Arbidel several times over the years as a part-time resident of Asturias, I am delighted to see the consistency and progress in the quality of the cuisine. The tasting menu is outstanding value - beautifully balanced and full of fresh, intense flavours. The ambiance is pleasant and the service attentive.

Delicious food, great service. Recommended! However, they charged us €27 pp for the pairings instead of the €18 Fork deal. It made us feel uncomfortable to complain about this since everything had been so nice, but eventually it has been solved correctly.

Excellent food in a very chilled atmosphere. The service was incredible, always there when you need them but never obtrusive.
We had the Menu Degustation for 40€ with all the wine for another 18€. Excellent choice.

We had a lovely dinner here. Service was friendly, helpful and efficient. The food is expertly cooked and imaginative as you would expect from a Micelin starred restaurant . There'd was an excellent choice of wines at reasonable prices. We orderd a la carte as we did not feel hungry enough to tackle the degustation menu. We shared a starter and then ordered a main course each but they also brougt out lots of little extras on the house which was a nice touch. The prices are reasonable for this quality of food and drink, I would definitely go back if I am in the area again.
